Laura asks…

religious gay/bi/lesbian: would u sacrifice love for religion?

I dont know about other religions’ laws & rules but for Christianity, homosexual is a sin. (u might intepret the bible anyway u want, it’s ur life, but this is how I intepret it: the bible says homosexuality is a sin. Please don’t try to change my belief, as i don’t try to change ur belief)

I‘m a lesbian myself. But yes I will sacrifice love for religion. Meaning probably I will never be with a woman whom i‘m in love with. We’ve never done any physical acts together, even though we love each others very much, but we’re Christian so that’s forbidden.

What about u? Would u sacrifice love for religion?

admin answers:

No I couldn’t.

I’m straight, but I can’t imagine giving up love for a religion.

According to the Bible, and other sources; Most of our sexually related sins don’t even come from the Bible; I should be headed to the ring of fire for the things I’ve done myself.

I wasn’t married. I’ve done more than the missionary position. I use contraceptives.

I think love, true love, is never evil or wrong. Nor do I think it’s a one-way ticket to hell; Even in a same sex relationship.

I won’t try to change your religion, only I do wish to offer up that you learn more about the origins of the Bible.

It was written about one thousand years after the death of Jesus. The decision on what books to include and what books to exclude, meaning if you get right down to it, there are tons more gospels that were deemed “not cannon” or not worthy of being in the Bible, by MEN not by God.

So I guess what I’m trying to say is, do what you feel in your heart is right, but don’t live and die by the version of the Bible you have.

To have Faith is a great thing; but don’t bury your head in the sand! Learn more!

Thomas asks…

How can defeat a person who will sacrifice even his loved ones for the sake of God?

A guy suggested to take revenge on the martyr’s loved ones.
But the martyr loves God above everything and everybeing.
So, this is my response to him:

I think you are quite wrong. I think you don’t know the psychology of suicide-bombers. They believe that
(including their parents) that they will go to heaven immediately and do you know they don’t keep it secret
to their loved ones and are encouraged by them? Do,
you think they will care if their whole family be killed?
NOT AT ALL.
Even 1000 muslims are killed against one Jew–no Jew will exist in the world and killing all Muslims will creat NUCLEAR WINTER.
The Israeli Tactics worked for a while but the beginning of their end started after the Lebanon War.
Muslims will go to heaven after being killed and infidels to hell-fire–so what’s the lose?
The Prophet said, “Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the Hereafter) would wish to come back to this world even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again (in Allah’s Cause).” (Sahih Bukhari, 4:52

Maria asks…

Which saying sounds better for a tattoo?

A friend of mine who served overseas wants to get a tattoo. She either wants the quote “For those I love I sacrifice” OR “For those I love I will sacrifice

Does it sound better with or without the will?

Either would work, because she did sacrifice by joining the military and she would sacrifice for someone she loves.

admin answers:

The first.

But don’t forget the comma… She’ll just look like a douche without the comma.
