Betty asks…

Army training info?? help?

I am interested in joining the army, i have checked out the website, but looking for more information.
I am interested in the medical side, healthcare assistant/nursing. Still unsure?
1. Is all physical training the same no matter what job you go into.
2. How intense is the training, i do not often exercise. :(
3. The medical assessment – i have a lazy eye, will this effect me??
4. To pass the physical training, do you have to be super fit, i watched some video’s of the training on you tube looks very intense. How do you fail the physical part?

Special Education is for students with DISABILITIES. You have miscatergorized your question. Y!A suggests a category but you need to verify it is the correct category and change it if need be. This will ensure you will get more useful responses.

The provision of education to people with disabilities or learning differences differs across countries and (in the US, Canada, Germany, and other federally organized countries) across states

Special education in India was present since the pre independence time, with very few schools or NGOs helping intellectually impaired children. Today India has come a long way and made a good progress in the field of disability rehabilitation. Presently India has four national institutes for effective implementation of this special education through various government schemes.

Joseph asks…

Will my colorful medical history keep me from becoming an OFFICER in the UNITED STATES Navy?

My conditions as far as I know them are:

-Allergies to Yellow #5 and 6 food coloring
-History of allergy induced Asthma(was never symptomatic just had trouble breathing at night, stopped inhaler long before age 13)
-Ear Tubes surgery when I was younger
-Grandma has diabetes but dad doesn’t and I don’t
-Tested for Asperger’s and ADD/ADHD(I was never treated fro any of these, by medicine or counseling, so I assume I don’t have any of these)
-had little bit of a misaligned/lazy eye but I grew out of it/ corrected it with exercise

I also have pros to add to this:

-20/20 vision(As stated by an eye-doctor)
-IQ of 126(As stated by my biology teacher who has a degree in psychology as well)
-I have perfect hearing.(I haven’t had a problem hearing anything ever before)
-healthy body weight(22.9 BMI, working on getting it bellow 22)
-I currently take no medicine except a vitamins sometimes, and at a physical I basically had the ability to say no to every potential problem my doctor asked and nothing he checked came up wrong with me

Does anyone think I could make it in to the Navy via NROTC? Also don’t tell me to lie as officers need at least SECRET clearance and I want to be a pilot, NFO, LSO, you know that kind of thing. Also I am waiting for a recruiter so please don’t point me that-a-way either.
I don’t want to work my a** off and have a doctor tell me to F*** off. If that happens I’ll use my above average or at least above Bo Jangles’ IQ to petition congress and the other million rejectees will no doubt sign the petition.
I have already considered the Naval Academy but with how competitive that is I wouldn’t even bother applying. I know a guy who got in there who only learned that the acdemy existed and started working to get in JUNIOR YEAR.
I don’t care about the means I just want to fight for my country. My parents are Indian immigrants and I’m an American by birth I just want to show my love for my new found country an since no one in my family has ever served before I want to be the first, being a USN or USMC officer would make my folks so proud.

The ear tube surgery might require a waiver but as far as medical the rest does not seem to present any issues. If you are asking about chances for a Navy Option or Marine Option Nrotc Scholarship, there is no information offered to state an opinion. A high school Biology teacher’s estimation of a student’s IQ is not a factor in selection decisions. An enlisted recruiter has no connection with Nrotc Scholarships. A Navy Opo(officer programs officer) or a Marine Oso(officer selection officer) are involved in recommending students for ISR(Immediate selection reservation) but these are few in number and require at least a 1290 Sat with a minimum 650 Math.
Applying for an appointment to the Naval Academy as well as the Nrotc Scholarship strengthens the applications for both. The military considers that a student’s primary goal should be to serve as a military officer regardless of service branch or commissioning source.
Good Luck!

Carol asks…

my hampsters really lazy and barely moving and looks a little fat/swollen. Someone please answer!!!!?

my hampster is about a 1 and a half years old. he hasnt been on his wheel for a while now and hes super lazy. Lastnight his left eye wasnt opening and today i was able to get it open for him but he is still really lazy. I was looking at his bottom (as a little check up) and there was a piece of his bedding stuck on what appeared to be his butthole and i started wiping it with a tissue and got the bedding off then there was like poop there and it looked like he had pee all over his bottom, even his tail. im going to be honest i havent really gave him attention cause i’ve been a little busy and the thought doesnt come to mind but my mom always tentions him. theres still a little crusty thing above his eye but at least he can open it now and his legs look a bit swollen/fat cause he hasnt gotten exercise in a while. and hes kinda breathing weird like really slowly. is there something i can feed him like vegetables or something? should he go to the vet? will he make it? is he dieing? PLEASE IF YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP PLEASE ANSWER!!

thanks i appreciate your help everyone! and i tried letting him roam around the room but he still just didnt want to move

admin answers:

Try letting him get exercise just by letting him roam on the floor freely. The crusty stuff is probably just crust from all the sleeping your buds doing however the breathing is possibly a problem, try making the cage less damp but if that doesn’t work id take him to the vet. I really hope your hamster gets better soon.
