The reason for this is that they actually weaken the eye muscles; this is why doing eye exercises can improve eyesight naturally because you are strengthening the muscles within the eyes. Just like any muscle in the body – if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it. Weak arm muscles make holding heavy objects difficult; just like weak eye muscles cause poor eyesight.

Each time you blink, you refresh your eyes, which reduces a certain amount of eye strain. Take a break and blink every three or four seconds for two minutes. Afterwards, your eyes should be more relaxed than before. It’s hard to believe that something as simple as blinking can help correct vision.

Zooming and focusing are very similar, and both exercises are done by placing your thumb in front of you and moving it closer and further from your eyes. Not only does it strengthen your eye muscles, it also improves your ability to focus.

Tracing can be done to improve eye vision by imagining a figure-eight in front of you and tracing it with your eyes. This exercise will help strengthen your eyes, as well as improve eye flexibility. It will be hard at first, but it will become easier the more you practice it.

Palming is a simple way to relax and improve eye vision also. By placing your palms over your eyes and resting your elbows on your knees, you are giving your eyes a chance to relax and refocus. All of these eye exercises are ways to correct vision without surgery and without the need for glasses or contacts.
