Nancy asks…

Who does the rock song that has the lyrics Fred Bear?

Heard it on rock station, other lyrics are about being out in the wild. Might be Red Bear instead of Fred Bear.

admin answers:

Ted Nugent. You know Google has a search function, right?

Hope I helped.

Laura asks…

What is the difference between pop and rock music?

I dont really know how to tell the difference… there are some songs that seem like rock and are actually pop and vice versa. So how do you tell the difference?

admin answers:

Rock: Usually has a 4/4 beat (not required, but it usually has one) Usually consists of a musician lineup of electric guitar(s), electric bass, drums, and often keyboards. Emphasis is placed on a group, rather than a solo musician. Frequently (not always) the performer writes his/her own material. Older rock bears influence of blues and country music.

Pop: Often has a 4/4 beat too, but is more likely to either be faster or slower. Generally (not always) oriented towards single performers, not groups. Material is often written by a professional songwriter, and the producer often has the biggest influence in the finished record. Pop incorporates musical ideas from whatever is popular at the moment, so pop throughout the years has undergone many stylistic changes.

Modern pop has had an emphasis on a danceable beat and a de-emphasis on the lyrics.

Often a “rock” song is called a “pop” song, due to a softer beat or sunny arrangement or huge mass appeal. One could consider all Western music designed to sell in large numbers as pop music, and rock a subgenre of pop. Or, rock and pop could be considered wholly separate genres.

Chris asks…

John asks…

When is google street view UK going to put up the rest of the pictures?

We saw the google car near our house in Manchester last October, but on google street view, you can’t see our house! They’ve only put up the pictures for some of Manchester.

When are they planning on filling in the gaps?

admin answers:

I think all the photos have been taken and put up. There are gaps between various photos but thats how its meant to be I think as the photos are taken every few metres apart or so. Its probably irrelevant anyway because none of the photos will be left because of certain people who have no life and think its ‘invading’ their piracy, sad I think. And I live in Manchester too :D

When using Google Adsense with YouTube, you post the code Google provides to a separate web page… You won’t be able to post the Adsense code onto your YouTube profile/channel… You would need to become a YouTube partner to get the ads show up in your videos… If you want to make google adsense money check out

How do i get Google Chrome to remember my Email but not my password?

Okay so google chrome use to do this for facebook, hotmail, and usernames for other websites but its not doing it anymore and i dont know what i did wrong. I’ve been trying to fix it but its not working. I dont want it to remember my password but also dot want to have to type a long email everytime i wanna check facebook or my hotmail.

admin answers:

Is this your own personal computer or are you using a family computer? If it’s yours it doesn’t matter what Chrome saves. No one can see your data if it’s password protected.

If it’s not, you’re out of luck.
Make sure you delete your web history to prevent anyone from going into your accounts.

On one of my laptops I need to access the internet, but internet explorer is down on that laptop. I am trying to download google chrome or firefox or whatever on to a flash drive. I download it on to the flash drive and put it in the other laptop. Then, I put the flash drive in the other laptop and click on google chrome, but it says can’t access or something like that. Help!

admin answers:

To install Chrome you need an active internet connection, so you may make your way easier by downloading Firefox or another installer that provides the full package and try with it. Once installed, if it can’t access either, then you have to check the security features of the system.

Joseph asks…

How do I download a bunch of google images quickly?

How can I download all images from Google images? The original images that are linked from Google to other websites. Every time I try I end up at a site that seems to be malicious/full of popups.

Is there a way to download a bunch at once based on a search term or a program that does this for free?

admin answers:

Try Google Image Downloader.

Its free and lets you download up to 64 images at a time. You can add constraints like, Safe Filtering, Size, Color, Rights etc. Too!

“Google Image Downloader (GiD) allows you to download images by entering a search term. It then hits the internet and downloads the full sized images from all of the sites Google images returns. So what does this mean to you?”

There are other programs that do this but I don’t have any experience with them. GiD works well for me.

Betty asks…

What technique does the Chinese government use to make images in Google search not available?

Red crosses often show up during my searching on Google images search. These red crosses indicate image not available. Sometimes a whole search results page is full of red crosses, means 20 images are not available. I’ve heard that this is maybe due to network blockage since i’m in China. But how does the China government achieve this? What’s the technical details behind it? Lots of time my images search keywords are not in the black list, which means my keywords are not sensitive. What technique does the Chinese government use to make images in Google search not available?
It is not Google earth, it is Google images.

admin answers:

No technique really. They just send a list of areas they dont want google earth to display, and google doesnt show them.

Simple as that mate.

Sharon asks…

How to download multiple photos from google images at once?

admin answers:

A winner listens, a loser just waits until it is their turn to talk.

Thomas asks…

How does Google guard against creative employees taking their ideas and forming their own start-up company?

How does Google, with it’s innovative culture (personal 20% time) and creative employees, make sure it’s employees remain loyal and do not run off with a great idea and embark on their own entrepreneurial start-up? If an employee has a great proprietary idea, is the idea his or Google‘s? I don’t think confidentiality agreements and non-complete contracts are enough to prevent this from happeing. Anyone have an idea?

admin answers:

Confidentiality agreements, non-compete contracts, and professional honor ARE most certainly enough to prevent this from happening, at Google the same as at any other company. If anything, Google’s optimum working conditions would likely inspire *more* company loyalty, not less.

Helen asks…

Please, I really need help to get back to normal google. I want to get rid of google chrome immediately! I don’t want to just change my homepage back to google but the whole internet as well. Thanks!

To get rid of Google Chrome just hit the start button, then right click on the Google Chrome icon and hover over “Shredder” then just simply click “Shred Files”
