Charles asks…

How to improve eyesight without glasses?

I want to improve my eyesight without wearing my glasses. Anyone can help me to recommend a good method ? Thanks.

admin answers:

There’s a natural method that you can apply to improve your vision. It has been developed by eye experts with scientific and proven system that can lead you to get your vision back naturally. Two of my relatives have tried the program and said that they can feel the result just in a couple of weeks.

Ken asks…

Is it possible to improve my eyesight without glasses?

I’m short-sighted (meaning I can’t see far away), I want to improve my eyesight without wearing glasses or obtaining laser surgery. Is it possible? Please answer, thanks.

admin answers:

Blurry vision comes from using our eyes incorrectly. Eye exercises(eye pushups, eye aerobics, eye yoga) do not change the way we use our eyes, mind, and body togther. People feel different when they do them and after a week they get used to the different feeling but clarity does not change. Artificial corrections(glasses, contacts, surgery) also do not change the way we use our eyes so our eyes continue to get worse year after year.

Not wearing glasses is not useful unless you know how to use your eyes, mind, and body together correctly while not wearing them. If people don’t know the incorrect vision habits to avoid and the correct vision habits to relearn and how do this with dynamic relaxation, they’re just seeing blurry, which isn’t fun. It can also lead to squinting and strain trying to see clearly.

Computers and TV can encourage us to use our eyes incorrectly but they do not harm our eyes. We harm our eyes when we stare and diffuse and squint while we are using them. People who have perfect vision or know how to use their eyes correctly can use the computer or tv all they like with out any harm to their visual system.

People who want to improve their eyesight naturally can start out by getting the best books. I have a link to the best book on Amazon on my website. Finding a good teacher near you can speed things up significantly. I also have a link to several Natural Eyesight Teachers around the world on my website. Successful Natural Eyesight Improvement Teachers don’t teach eye exercises because they don’t improve eyesight.

Thomas asks…

Is there anyway to naturally improve eyesight?

Lately I’ve noticed how I can’t see as good as I used to. I can’t even draw a picture on my computer screen without straining my eyes to see it.
I won’t be able to afford an eye appointment for a while, but I really don’t want to have to wear glasses or contacts.
Is there anyway I can improve my eyesight naturally or at least keep it from getting worse until I can get an appointment?

admin answers:

The carrots thing is actually a huge myth, see http://www.snopes.com/food/ingredient/carrots.asp for the full story, but it originated from some WW2 propaganda.

Vitamin A is important for your eyesight, thousands of impoverished children go blind every year from lack of vitamin A. Though overdosing on it can be pretty bad for you too, you wouldn’t be able to eat the amount of carrots required to get the benefit without making yourself very ill and very orange from the carotene in the carrots.

Liver is the best thing to eat for your eyes. Though Cod Live Oil supplements can also help, there are plenty of foods which have a good vitamin A content, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_a#Sources

If you can get hold of bilberries, they have also been said to help improve eyesight, they are a smaller, sweeter version of blueberries, though most supermarkets probably wouldn’t carry them, but they grow wild in many places.

I’m not sure from your question where you live, but if you live in America, you may want to check out these sites, http://www.eyecareamerica.org/ and http://www.optometryscharity.org/vision-usa/ they can give you advice on where you might qualify for a free eye test. If you live in the UK then eye tests are completely free if you are under 18 or are on benefits, and if not, most family practise opticians (opposed to chains like specsavers) only charge about £20-£30 for a test and some wave the fee alltogether if it turns out you need glasses.

I’m sorry, but no. There are no natural ways to improve vision. There are ways to keep your vision. Carrots can keep your vision the same, but too much carrots will screw up your vision. Sugery is the only way to improve your vision.

How can i improve my horrible vision?

I have worn glasses since I was 5 and I’m already15. I have wear to wear them everysingle day since I have horrible vision…and I’m tired of it and I don’t want to wear them I want contacts but my parents won’t let me have them, and I wanted to get plastic surgery but that sounds to scary. Is there anyone that has any idea of how to improve blurry vision naturally such as vision exercises, please help me ANYONE I’m tired of wearing glasses and I don’t want to wear them everysingle day anymore because I just feel that they make look like a nerd and look ugly and I alsp belive that wearing glasses so often is making my vision even wors. Someone help me please. :(

admin answers:

I understand :/ I have bad vision too. Theres not much you can do other than NOT wear your glasses and hope your eyes will strengthen on their own. My doctor told me contacts make your eyes worse because I started wearing them early and my vision has gotten a lot worse it sucks. I was in 7th grade when I started. Also contacts are somewhat expensive. Now that I’m on my own I’m seriously considering wearing glasses now. Who cares! You need to see right? Don’t let anyone bother you. Tell them, so what if I need glasses.. I can’t see. You need braces! People just like to pick on others to make them selves look better. I’ve seen a lot of attractive guys who pull of the glasses and look funny to me when they take them off. It can be a part of who you are.. So just rock those glasses :) You have a life ahead of you to wear contacts or get laser.

Susan asks…

Are there any eye exercises to improve vision atleast A little bit?

if so, can you give me the details? Is there anything i can eat to get better vision

admin answers:

The answer is quite simply … No.

A person has less than 20/20 eyesight because of the shape and length of their eye. Exercises to strengthen the muscles of the eye do Nothing to correct the structure of ones eye. There are scams galore out there that will take your money and still leave you seeing blurry.

There is nothing you can eat to “improve” your vision. However, eating foods containing beta carotine and leutein like carrots and green leafy veggies will aid in the Health of the eye but still won’t make your vision better since it is the structure of the eye that causes less than perfect eyesight. That is why LASIK works because it changes the structure of the eye.

Betty asks…

Any eye exercises to improve my vision?

i have a really bad eyesight. I was wondering if anybody online knows any eye exercises to improve the vision?

admin answers:

Hello SuperMom Do U have I Dr. Maybe Low Vision therapist?

Thomas asks…

Can eye exercises actually improve your vision?

If so, by how much? And if not, what does it actually do? Is there any way to improve eyesight without Lasik eye surgery?

admin answers:

Short answer, no.

Long answer, also no.

Those who perpetrate this myth are frauds. You cannot manipulate the visual system into better sight. It just doesn’t work that way. If it did, manufacturers and retailers of optical corrections would have been out of business decades ago.

William asks…

How can I fix my eyesight naturally?

I’m nearsighted, so I wear contacts so I can see and function in everyday life. Recently, I have been reading up on ways that improve eyesight through different exercises. However, I want to know if these claims are true and that one can improve eyesight naturally.

Any answers on whether this is true or not is greatly appreciated, along with links!

admin answers:

They say almonds can help you eyes if you eat a dozen or so every day. I tried it and my eyes stopped deteriorating. I have had the same vision as i had from five years ago. Before that, my eyes were worsening, fast. Carrots are also supposed to help eyes.

PS… Robert is right too…

Donald asks…

Is it possible to improve eyesight naturally?

I want to know if it’s possible to improve eyesight naturally. If it is, I’d like to know how, and i don’t want any of that stuff with joining some program or doing some weird thing. Some people say it’s possible, some say it’s not. What should i think? Are there eye drops that can improve eyesight? Any eyesight improvement exercises that are scientifically proven to work?
Strangely i had a papaya yesterday, and i heard looking at the sun for too long can cause permanent blindness, so don’t be ridiculous. I heard that eating carrots were a rumor, but i’ll try it.
Have you guys used the eating carrot technique? How does eating carrots help exactly? :)
They say that during WWII that was a rumor used to prevent people from knowing about radar.
I’m sorry, but carrots do not improve eyesight, but a lack of vitamin A can be bad for your eyesight.

admin answers:

There are many reasons why ones vision could be less than perfect. But if you are referring to correcting a refractive error (ie removing the need for glasses to see clearly) then it is probably best to look at what causes the refractive error (prescription) to be what it is.

The refractive error is determined by a number of physical characteristics of the eye including the size of the eye and the amount of curvature of the cornea. These can be measured using special instruments. It does not seem likely that the length of the eye or the curvature of the cornea would change for the better due to ones diet.
