Joseph asks…

The lable says-Adult dosage 2 capsules in the morning and 2 before exercise.
Each capsule contains 500mg of carnitine.

How much should I take?

Btw im a female

admin answers:

None…there is no need for a young girl to take it.

Sharon asks…

what is the best dog food, out of the following? For 40lb pitbull?

Blue Buffalo large breed: 26%protein, L carnitine,Taurine, 1% calcium, Glucosimine/condroiton, and cold formed vitamin/antioxodant blend.
Blue (regular) only 22% protein. Which is mostly why I feed her the large breed.
And is Blue going to try to get with a larger company? will its commercialization ruin the quality?
So, I’m really confused. Why is Blue only considered a “decent” food? What flaws does it have compared to other holistic dog foods?

admin answers:

I’ve always used purina dog chow with my large labrador and he’s still incredibly healthy at nearly 15 years old so I haven’t bothered with any other brands, sorry.

Donna asks…

Does L- carnitine supplements affect female fertility?

I stared taking L- Carnitine pills and I heard from a friend that they affect your fertility and to be careful because it’s much easier to get preggers while taking l carnitine. Is this true or not?

admin answers:

I do not think so.

Your Questions About An Impaired Use Of Language Is Known As

Sandy asks…

Where can I find an American Sign Language dictionary or free course online?

Our three-year old daughter is hearing-impaired and is receiving speech therapy and ASL instruction, but my family and I want to learn more.

admin answers:

This first one is great….

just click on the start button.

Dictionary type site….

I use this service and they send everything to my house by ups and pick it up. It’s free…but I don’t know where you are from…you may have one too. Books & videos on anything to do with deafness and hard of hearing…coping, learning, and fun stuff like movies too.

I am HOH and my family mainstreamed me. They didn’t catch on to my problem till I was in my 20′s. I had a 70/70 bilateral loss. But I had surgery to correct it a little. Best thing is to get educated. I wish I had known about deaf culture before I had the surgeries. I did not adjust well. I never knew other kids like me. There is a lot of help out there. You can ask me anything at my 360 page blog(it has an email option under the photo). Good Luck!

Sharon asks…

How do I write a speech-impaired character in my novel?

I’m writing a novel where my main character’s brother is speech-impaired but he has telepathic abilities (it’s a fantasy obviously) but I don’t know how to write what he “says” because technically he never says anything she just hears it in her head and she replies aloud. So what exactly should I do because saying “….”, she heard in her head.” over and over again will become redundant.

admin answers:

Well if he/she has telepathic abilities she could project them into the minds of others, or you could have her draw/write out anything she wants to say or if she know sign language try that using gestures and emotions are a good way to show what the character is saying or feeling you can also tell it in a omniscient 3rd person view or use memories to tell his story hope that helps.

P.S. Try to look at some musicals where they act out the story but dont say a word

Mary asks…

What is the difference between a DUI and DWI?

I know a DWI is Driving While Intoxicated, and a DUI is Driving Under the Influence, but what are the differences in charges and repercussions?

admin answers:

Each state has its own acronym for impaired driving. What it is called (DUI or DWI) is of no legal consequence. What matters is what the statutes in your state say. All states have a “per se” BAC level of .08 alcohol, plus language that allows a person to be prosecuted for driving in an impaired condition due to alcohol or drugs (no test required for a conviction). Repercussions vary greatly state to state. Most states enhance the penalty for high BAC levels and for repeat offenses. You can check out the site below to see some general information.

Your Questions About Carnitine

Sandra asks…

What sort of substances slow your metabolism?

I watch what I eat, stay away from a lot of sugar and unhealthy carbs. I used to be about 210, and have been able to maintain being between 150-155 for about two or so years now. I was drinking a low sugar (6g of sugar per bottle) energy drink today and a coworker said “Oh wow, guarana, taurine, l-carnitine, and ginseng? That stuff completely halts your metabolism.” I asked him how he knows that and he just said “I read it somewhere.”

Well that isn’t a very good answer. Does anyone know why these things are so bad for us, and do they stop metabolism? He mentioned diet soda does the same thing.

admin answers:

You watch what you eat but you drink a supplement loaded with worthless junk where every US federal health agency advises against taking supplements without the advice of a health care professional. Dude, that makes no sense especially since you’re now concerned about that crap you’ve been paying your hard earned money for.

You don’t need an energy drink. It’s not likely those ingredients will make you more energetic because they’re junk ingredients which is why you don’t find them being sold by big pharmaceutical or food companies. And, it’s not likely they will do anything bad to you because the supplement manufacturers know you don’t know enough to know how much is too little or too much. If you did, you wouldn’t be buying their scam products anyway so why would they want to spend more money putting a lot of stuff in the product? If it made people sick or slowed metabolisms, they’d probably be sued and most of the supplement makers are flaky little companies anyway. They sell to a specific market…people who want to believe there’s an easy way to do something difficult or impossible.

Your metabolism is just fine. If it wasn’t you would know it and be seeing an endocrinologist.

Good luck and good health!!

admin answers:

None of these foods are too impressive. The best food seems to be E. At least it has plain “turkey” and plain “chicken” as the first two ingredients.

Foods A, B, H, J, K, and L seem to have the same story going. Firstly plain meat, followed by its mysterious “meal” counterpart. These are all second best I guess.

C could be third. I wouldn’t choose something with so many potatoes however.

G starts out with a “meal”, so fourth.

And lastly D, F and I being the worst.

Michael asks…

What do you think of Nivea for men Hair Recharge Shampoo? Have anyone tried it?

It claims that it treats hair loss by combining two highly active ingredients Carnitine and Creatine, supports hair growth. Carnitine increases energy production in hair root cells while Creatine facilitates energy storage (in-vitro proven). The System stimulates hair roots and reduces natural hair thinning.

admin answers:

Sorry to dash your hopes! I think all of the hair growth products are scams! It is a huge business and people still buy into to their fantastic claims. I have had clients try everything under the sun. Hair thins because of your DNA. Most likely your mothers father was bald or had thinning hair. Nothing stops that genetic make up.
You can try it. BUT if you don’t see NOTICEABLE improvement within three months, give it up.

Your Questions About For Those Who Wait Lyrics

Joseph asks…

What country song are these lyrics from?

There is this country song that has these lyrics in them:
“They say that good things come to those who wait“. I am getting so frustrated that I can’t remember it. Help me?

admin answers:

Could it be It’s A Little Late / Tammin Sursok or I Got Lucky / John Dendy?

Robert asks…

Does anyone know the meaning to the song Heaven Can Wait by We the Kings?

I know that the lyrics “Here’s a song for when I drink to much and spill my words” is supposed to be the meaning of the song according to Travis, but does anyone know what that means? And if not do you know a different story, because I saw an interview where they said it was all about Drew which confused me even more. Thanks in advance.

Helen asks…

What are the lyrics of the album version of Taylor Swift’s “Sparks Fly”?

I’ve googled it but all those lyrics sites show the lyrics of the older version and not the one in “Speak Now”.
I kinda need specifically that one.

admin answers:

The way you move is like a full on rain storm and I’m a house of cards. You’re the counter reckless that should send me running, but i kinda know that I won’t get far. And you stood there in front of me, just close enough to touch. Close enough to hope you couldn’t see what I was thinking of. Drop everything now, meet me in the pouring rain. Kiss me on the sidewalk, take away the pain. Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile. Get me with those green eyes baby as the lights go down, give me something that will haunt me when you’re not around. Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile. My mind forgets to remind me, you’re a bad idea. You could touch me once and it’s really something and you find i’m even better than you imagined I would be. I’m on my guard for the rest of the world, but with you I know it’s no good. And I could wait patiently but I really wish you would, drop everything now, meet me in the pouring rain, kiss me on the sidewalk, take away the pain. Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile. Get me with those green eyes baby as the lights go down, give me something that will haunt me when you aren’t around. Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile. I run my fingers through your hair and watch the lights go wild. Just keep on keeping your eyes on me, it’s wrong enough to make it feel right. And lead me up the staircase won’t you whisper soft and slow, I’m captivated by you baby like a firework show. Drop everything now, meet me in the pouring rain. Kiss me on the sidewalk, take away the pain. Cause I see sparks fly whenever you smile. Get me with those green eyes baby as the lights go down. Give me something that will haunt me when you’re not around because I see sparks fly whenever you smile. And the sparks fly, oh baby smile. And the sparks fly.

Your Questions About For Those Tears I Died Lyrics

June 16, 2013
By

Charles asks…

The full set of the lyrics of the verse I posted earlier. Can you rate it 1-10?

These are the full set of the lyrics I posted earlier. I wanted to know what you think of them. Rate it 1-10 and tell me what you think it’s about. It’s probaly not that good cuz I couldn’t seem to get my head straight. They are copyrighted and I‘m working on the beat and I‘ve gotten a R&B singer from my school to sing the hook.

————————————————

[Verse One]
Tattooed tears on my skin crying for help
All eye’s on me watching every single step
I take just watching me waiting on me to turn my back
To break to snap for a set back for there next attack
Jumping at me my demons are eating me inside
Picking at every single mistake every single lie
Every night I pray a plea out to stop my misery
But all it does is bring me all this damn tragedy
Devil’s hounds on my trail trying to bring me to hell
Like these anthrax letters sent though everyone’s mail
Angels wanting to save me but there help doesn’t phase me
Just like everything bullets are the only thing that can graze me
See my face in the morning thinking everyone always hates me
Being yelled at I feel like a child wanting someone to take me
Hating is just part of life just like hell is part of eternal strife
It time I’ve became the master instead of taking advice from the student
It’s time I’ve stop reading books gaining knowledge and started to use it

[Hook]
The tattooed tears on my skin I had removed along time ago
But the scar tissue is always gonna be there left on my soul
Purity destroyed by insecurity cuz there’s no where to go
My spirit is dying slowly my soul me and I don’t know

[Verse Two]
Every time I think for once I might just be happy
You come along just like last time and try to trap me
Along with my demons there’s a angel’s pretty face
How could one of my angels be a demon in this place
I would go back if I could to see how purity taste
But now that purity is gone with all the flowers and hearts
Broken hearts and broken faces in the picture I torn apart
Didn’t know this would happen in the problem I weaved
I thought this was incidental not something you conceived
It was planed from the start screwing with broken hearts
Trying to fix something that wasn’t really broken it didn’t work
Two halves didn’t seem to make a whole this time hoping it’ll work
Even if they did it’ll only be one the other would still be cracked
Hating what they got into they wishing that they can take it back
But they can’t they should have thought before they got in this mess
But they can’t they have to do what they heart tells them to do I guess

[Hook]
The tattooed tears on my skin I had removed along time ago
But the scar tissue is always gonna be there left on my soul
Purity destroyed by insecurity cuz there’s no where to go
My spirit is dying slowly my soul me and I don’t know

[Verse Three]
The past I know is always gonna be my past nothing more
Just like something I left on the other side of my front door
Gonna see it when I come back but won’t remember till tomorrow
Why did I do this why did I do that why did I get outta bed
I think I’ll be another person who thinks he’ll better off dead
All my life I’ve found a safe haven in music in rap and hip hop
When the demons over take my mind I just listen and it all stops
Angels that bothered me about being saved listened and didn’t talk
They knew that I was saved music was part of my savior’s main part
God meant for me to find music but it seems that really music found me
Everyday that one angel that works with demons she prays for me softly
But in the past she use to be there to mock me never actually talked to me
Just a pretty face disguised in all of her lies when she really at night she cries
Nobodies perfect but we all wish we can’t have the perfect life perfect sight
Perfect night picture perfect love life but it’s only a fake it’s the negative
The positive of the picture is only one person the other can’t be held captive

[Hook]
The tattooed tears on my skin I had removed along time ago
But the scar tissue is always gonna be there left on my soul
Purity destroyed by insecurity cuz there’s no where to go
My spirit is dying slowly my soul me and I don’t know(x3)

@D.C.: I just posted this to see if people can understand it I had to take my medication for my panic attacks and I wrote it while I was on that stuff and I didn’t know if people could understand me. So I just posted this one and this is the 1st time I post the full st of the lyrics(copyrighted). I‘m gonna stop after this one I just need some people saying if they can understand it.

admin answers:

Nobody’s gonna steal your lyrics, so no need to type ‘copyrighted’.

…and it’s pretty hard to judge typed out lyrics, it depends on the way you can make it flow and the sound of the voice spittin’ it.
