Your Questions About For Those Tears I Died Lyrics

May 31, 2013

Mark asks…

Tupac a poet?

I‘ve been listening to alot of his music lately, and all his lyrics seem to reference dying young and in a violent manner, it was like he predicted he was going to be killed at a young age.

So Many Tears

I shall not fear no man but God
Though I walk through the valley of death
I shed so many tears, if I should die before I wake
Please God walk with me, grab a n*gga and take me to Heaven

Back in elementary, I thrived on misery
Left me alone I grew up amongst a dying breed
Inside my mind couldn’t find a place to rest
until I got that Thug Life tatted on my chest
Tell me can you feel me? I‘m not living in the past, you wanna last
Be the first to blast, remember Kato
No longer with us he’s deceased
Call on the sirens, seen him murdered in the streets
Now rest in peace
Is there heaven for a G? Remember me
So many homies in the cemetery, shed so many tears

Ahh, I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears..
Lord, I lost so many peers, and shed so many tears

Now that I‘m struggling in this business, by any means
Label me greedy getting green, but seldom seen
And f*ck the world cause I‘m cursed, I‘m having visions
of leaving here in a hearse, God can you feel me?
Take me away from all the pressure and all the pain
Show me some happiness again, I‘m going blind
I spend my time in this cell, ain’t living well
I know my destiny is Hell, where did I fail?
My life is in denial, and when I die
Baptized in eternal fire, I‘ll shed so many tears

Lord, I suffered through the years, and shed so many tears..
Lord, I lost so many peers, and shed so many tears

Now I‘m lost and I‘m weary, so many tears
I‘m suicidal, so don’t stand near me
My every move is a calculated step to bring me closer
To embrace an early death, now there’s nothing left
There was no mercy on the streets, I couldn’t rest
I‘m barely standing, about to go to pieces, screaming peace
And though my soul was deleted, I couldn’t see it
I had my mind full of demons trying to break free
They planted seeds and they hatched, sparking the flame
inside my brain like a match, such a dirty game
No memories, just a misery
Painting a picture of my enemies killing me in my sleep
Will I survive till the morning to see the Sun?
Please Lord forgive me for my sins cause here I come…

Lord, I suffered through the years (God) and shed so many tears..
God, I lost so many peers and shed so many tears

Lord knows I..tried, been a witness to homicide
Seen drive bys taking lives, little kids die
Wonder why as I walk by
Broken-hearted as I glance at the chalk line, getting high
This ain’t the life for me, I wanna change
But ain’t no future right for me, I‘m stuck in the game
I‘m trapped inside a maze
See this Tanqueray influenced me to getting crazy
Disillusioned lately, I‘ve been really wanting babies
so I could see a part of me that wasn’t always shady
Don’t trust my lady cause she’s a product of this poison
I‘m hearing noises, think she’s f*ckin all my boys, can’t take no more
I‘m falling to the floor; begging for the Lord to let me in
to Heaven’s door, shed so many tears
Dear God, please let me in

Lord, I‘ve lost so many years and shed so many tears..
I lost so many peers and shed so many tears
Lord, I suffered through the years and shed so many tears..
God, I lost so many peers and shed so many tears

All lyrics are poetry in one way or the other. What do you think?

Daniel asks…

Drake lyrics in song “Fear”?

Well in Drake’s song Fear, he says:

I never cried when Pac died.
But I probably will when Hov does.
And if my tears hold value, then I would drop one for every single thing he showed us.
And I‘ll be standing in a puddle”

soo is he tryin to say that Jay Z’s and his lyrics are valued over Tupac’s,, just wonderin cuz if thats what he’s tryin to say then i think he’s definitely wrong

admin answers:

He’s probably saying that jay-z had a bigger impact on him.

Laura asks…

music lyrics quiz!!! woo! tell me what songs these lyrics belong to (:?

kk here’s a couple of songs. i‘m gonna put down lyrics, and you have to tell me what songs they belong to. most correct, gets best answer. good luck (:

1) can you imagine no love, pride, deep fried chicken, your best friend always sticking up for you, even when i know you’re wrong can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance, five hour phone conversation, the best soy latte that you ever had and me

2) shadows fill an empty heart. love is fading. all the things that we are, are not saying, can we see beyond the stars and make it to the dawn. change the colors of the sky and open up to the ways u made me feel alive, the ways i loved you. to all the things that never died, i am by your side my love will find you

3) oh how it feels so real lying here with no one near and only you, and you can hear me, when i say softly, slowly……

4)I thought I was a fool for no one
But ooh, baby I‘m a fool for you
You’re the queen of the superficial
And how long before you tell the truth?

5)Why do I keep running from the truth?
All I ever think about is you
You got me hypnotized, so mesmerized
And I’ve just got to know

6)I think about the years I spent just passing through
I‘d like to have the time I lost and give it back to you
But you just smile and take my hand
You’ve been there you understand
It’s all part of a grander plan that is coming true

7)Now I‘m a fat house cat
Nursing my sore blunt tongue
Watching the warm poison rats
Curl through the wide fence cracks
Pissing on magazine photos
Those fishing lures thrown in the cold and clean
Blood of Christ mountain stream
8) All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away

9)I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing
Roman Cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror, my sword and shield
My missionaries in a foreign field
For some reason I can’t explain
I know Saint Peter won’t call my name
Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

10) i can take the rain on the roof of this empty house, that dont bother me. i can take a few tears now and then and just let them out. i‘m not afraid to cry every once and a while even though going on with you gone still upsets me.
*giggles* haha i thought i‘d pick some easier songs but i guess the portions of the lyrics i picked are just too hard unless u reallllllyyy know the song (: haha and yea emily, you DEFINITELY have heard the one with the cat… (: u’ll kick urself once u find out what it is :P

Your Questions About For Those Who Have Heart

May 30, 2013

Robert asks…

Why do people who have heart attacks often change? Does tooth paste really affect your heart?

I was just wondering because my grandpa had a heart attack and he talks a LOT now almost without stopping–and he doesn’t realize it.
My sister who is going to be a nurse said that tooth paste can be bad for your heart. Is that really true? Why?

admin answers:

I wouldn’t be surprised, one bit!! Try to get the book “Fit For Life”, because in this book it talks about how toothpaste has fluoride in it, and it contain’s sugar, and in the book it talks about brushing without toothpaste, to just use water instead, and to use a breath mint for fresher breathe if need be, instead of the toothpaste’s breathe freshener……. I’ve never read the book myself, but my whole family has and they’ve all told me different things in it, that are so beneficial to everyday living longer tips…… You might want to go and purchase this book, or rent it from a book store…… It sounds to me like your grandpa has what mine did, “Alzheimer’s” ….. My grandpa, used to be a Professional boxing trainer, and he loved to watch tv.. Well, when he got put in the home, it was just a couple of blocks away from where he used to own his own home, and from the Gym, where he used to train his boxer’s, right, well sometimes Grandpa would pull a “Disappearing Act” on them, and they’d call the family, and all my dad’s brother’s and dad knew right where to find him at….He’d be at the “Gym” watching all the new trainer’s training their guys, and trying to give them tips, and being a “Nuisance” to the New trainer’s, I guess, but not to us!! And family would go and get him, and bring him around to see all of us, and at that time I had a little “Red TV.” And my Granpa, goes, Christy, you have a Glove, that’s so nice” he called my tv, a glove because his two favorite pass-times were boxing training with the “Red Gloves” on, and watching TV…… So here I had both, the red, and the tv, so he identified it with both, I guess. There’s so many things I wish I’d of asked my grandpa before he passed away, in 1983, on my wedding night to my first husband…… Like how to sing the old German songs, and how to speak the language, as he did, and what part of Germany were his parent’s from and did they leave because of the whole “Nazi thing” you know… Take advantage of his being around and to help him with his memory by asking him things you wish later you had, you know….. I’m so sorry to hear about your Grandfather’s condition, hun!! My Best Regards to you and your Family!!

Ruth asks…

Serious Question for those who merge heart and head: NONVIOLENT OFFENDERS.?

I am a minister in an inner city. The neighborhood in which I minister is very violent and the entire downtown section is mostly responsible for the rising crime/murder rate. Moreover, I am having a difficult developing collaborative support structures that can fully rehabilitate non-violent offenders (FELONS) to a normal life.

These are men have not held anyone at gun point nor have they had a history of any violent acts. They may be guilty of shoplifting, credit card fraud, the purchasing of marijuana and etc. The only work that is available for these men are Labor Ready jobs (jobs in which a 1000 men wake up at 4 a.m. to fill ten slots to build a house, clean a parking lot and etc) or seasonal work such as painting. (Some who are fighting for these jobs have earned degrees). One young man (25 yrs old) violated parole status because he could not find work to pay his child support.

The tragedy here is that these are able bodied men who are capable of work, who have a potential to make some contribution back to society but will probably end up back in behind bars because SALING DRUGS IS THE ONLY REALISTIC STRATEGY TO EARN WAGES. Many people who are in positions of authority to hire or make laws do not really understand the nature of my work and do not understand that nature of this (catch 22 dilemma). It is hard to understand the other side of the tracks if you haven’t been there.

You are with a group of other community leaders, what strategy would you propose can fix this problem? Remember, you have to present your case to middle class stakeholders who are either indifferent or do not understand the issue from the bottom-side up. (I guess I am exploring discussing the tax liability of making the prison a revolving door due to the lack of social support out of prison) YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE!

That approach is very costly. Creating a prison system that becomes a revolving door is alot more expensive than restoration. Furthermore, your position is not consistent with the message of Christ. I do not think that their is any sanity in locking someone up and throwing away the key for shoplifting!

admin answers:

Andre, have you heard of Delancey Street Foundation? It is a most incredible organization started by Dr. Mimi Silbert and her partner, John Maher, an ex-felon and recovering drug addict (he is now deceased). Delancey Street Foundation is located in San Francisco, California. Delancey Street began in 1971 with $1,000, four residents and a dream. It has grown over the years and has helped thousands of men and women turn their lives around. They didn’t wait for employers to give them jobs, they made their own jobs, starting with a moving company and a pick up truck. Mimi Silbert and John Maher thought outside the box. I encourage you to think outside the box, too. Please google Delancey Street Foundation and begin to learn how you can effectively help those coming from incarceration to maintain a productive crime free life. From their humble beginnings, Delancey Street has expanded to other states and has built a 30 million dollar, 400,000 square foot complex, with luxury apartments and restaurants, stores, and businesses….all run by former felons who are now responsible citizens.

I suggest contacting Delancey Street Foundation and visiting them. If your community is really committed to making a difference in the lives of men and women coming out of prison, modeling Delancey Street Foundation or bringing a chapter to your city would be worth it. Good luck to you and God Bless.

Your Questions About For Those I Love I Will Sacrifice

May 29, 2013

Richard asks…

Could someone please translate the following quote into latin?

The phrase I want translated is, “For those I love, I will sacrifice.” I am looking for something a little more in depth than a simple online translation. Thanks!

admin answers:

Illis quos amo iacturam faciam.

Some notes:

Illis = ‘for those’ – It’s dative plural, used as ‘dative of advantage’. That was used to show who receives the benefit of the action.

Latin did have a verb meaning ‘to sacrifice (sacrificare)’, but its use was only in the sense of a religious sacrifice and would not fit here. English borrowed the word and expanded its meaning.

For ‘sacrifice’ in this sense (to give something up out of regard for someone else)’, Latin used an idiom – iacturam facere. Literally, that means ‘to throw something overboard’.

Susan asks…

Matching tattoos for my best friend and I?

She’s my only female best friend, which means alot to me. We want matching tattoos. Some people think it’s a bad idea but we dont care we really want to get them. We have some ideas. We want short quotes like “a prayer for the wild at heart kept in cages” or “for those i love i will sacrifice” but i really want it to kind of signify how shes my only female best friend, but any suggestions are appreciated.

Thomas asks…

Could someone translate a quote into Norwegian?

I want to get the quote “For those I love I will sacrifice” tattooed on my back in Norwegian. I‘m mostly Norwegian, but unfortunately wasn’t taught any of the language from my grandfather or dad. Any translations would be greatly appreciated.

Please don’t simply type this into an online translator. I already tried and they are wrong.

admin answers:

Chris’ answer uses the perfectly acceptable ‘for *de*’ but more traditional use suggests “dem” rather than “de.” Dem is the object form for ‘de’ but many dialect regions use ‘de’ instead.

What you mean by ‘mostly Norwegian’ suggests you live in Minnesota (where I live) or Wisconsin. Most of the rest of the world understands the difference between “Norwegian” and “Norwegian-American.

Further I recommend that if your Norwegian heritage is important to you, you make an effort to learn modern Norwegian. My website below has lots of resources for learners of Norwegian.

Your Questions About For Those Tears I Died

May 28, 2013

Richard asks…

Do you like my poems, they were birthed from my heart thanks for reading=]??!?

No sun can melt this blackened ice
Nothing can stop this relentless rain
No hope can fill these deepened cracks
No soul alive can feel my weeping pain

These days of mine aren’t happy days
My mind constantly clouded with fears
I do not ask for riches nor for any praise
Only for love to wipe away my dying tears

My beating heart is like an emptied home
And I am afraid of letting anyone inside
For them to tell me that they really care
Only to find out that they woefully lied

Give Me Life

The yellow and red leaves flowed into the sky
Like porcelain ballerinas onto a light blue stage
The wind touched my dusky skin I did not cry
Yet, your words filled my beating heart with rage
Now these winter days seem bitter freezing cold
No sun for filling my soul with warming glee
Right now this question may seem outright bold
But, when will passionate spring return to me?

I wrote these today at about 2:20 am. I was feeling very down and out. I am very depressed and jsut wanted to write these two poems to cope with those negative feelings. Most of my work is usually me trying to make the poems good and revising and doing all this stuff to it, imagery all that but these are straight from the heart. Hope you liked them.

Joseph asks…

What should I do…I don’t like my family.?

My Mom thinks the world of my brother who is 50 years old and their family. My brother does not see my Mother very often with his family. His kids never go see her or think of her. My mother would complain to me about her son’s not coming to visit her. After visiting with her one day…I e-mailed them and told them they needed to make more of an effort and their kids to see her. You never know what tomorrow will bring. They were offended and told me their kid’s only grandmother died tears back … that would be my brother”s wife’s mother. GEES! My mother is legally blind. For the last (25) years of doing most everything for her because my father passed away at age 65 I could not do as much for her because our financial situation changed and I went to work full time. We provided the home where my Mom lived. Which we had to sell and she moved to an apartment which she loves. I thought maybe they could think of her more often…do more for her. My brother thinks he is better than all of his 5 brothers and sisters. He is a snob. He told me some things that would hurt my Mom and I did not tell her for do not want to hurt her. But, in the long run I do not want to go to any family functions if they are there. They make me sick. It would break her heart if I told her what they said about her and our family. I stepped back and decided if I did less they would step up and they did do a little more. In my brother’s Christmas letter all he talked about was how he did all this stuff for my Mom in a copied letter to all the relatives. We all helped my Mom. Now he is her hero and can do no wrong. He seems like such a hipocrit. I wonder sometimes if I am jealous, hurt or what. My mother sometimes brags to me about my brother and all he does and I just say that is wonderful Mom…I am happy he does for her now…but I think she thinks he is her husband figure now…I can suggest something she needs to do and she says No! My brother said to do it this way. WHATEVER???? Now I can do nothing or say anything that is right or have any opinions with her. It is different and I feel sad. Any suggestions. (The funny thing about this my brother agrees that she sides with him and thinks it is ok)

admin answers:

Ignorance is bliss, and it’s always hell for the peacekeepers. Your mom may be happy not knowing the truth, but I’ve always believed in knowing the truth regardless of how painful it might be. It’s not fair to anyone to live a lie, especially when you have to keep track of who can know what. Do you see where it has gotten you so far? You say yourself that nothing you say or do is right. Question is, how happy are you with that?
I’m a firm believer in not hiding the truth about anything. My rule is, don’t ever do or say anything to anyone that you wouldn’t want known to the world. Your brother should be man enough to face up if he isn’t willing to ‘fess up. My second rule is, when your truth is known, don’t blame someone else for your actions.
As a mother, I would hate to think of being “spared” certain truths. I like things out in the open and dealing with them, not being played a fool just because someone doesn’t want to see my feelings hurt.
In your case, your brother has it made. Ask yourself, does he deserve it? I’m not saying you should start a family feud. There are mature, civilized ways of dealing with hypocrites.
Bottom line, put yourself in your mother’s shoes. If you were her, would you want to know the truth, or live on in ignorant bliss?

Sandy asks…

what do you think of my story so far?

ill take all feedback so i can get better at sorta just writing as i go because with my other story’s when i follow a plan i tend to go off track so im just gonna see where this story goes:
Feli ran down the street of her small, poor village, looking for her friend rimbaa. he was always a good hider but feli always found jumped up onto the ledge of the blacksmiths fence. she tried to step as lightly as she could and succed. Feli rounded a corner, nearly falling down , and saw the corner of rimbaas head.she gave a huge grin.
“ha i see you rimbaa. i‘ll catch up to you in no time” she rounded another corner and saw a dead end. Feli gave a puzzled look. Rimbaa had disappeared. she looked around. trying to find him when all of a sudden somebody grabed her shoulder. she looked around and saw one of the dark princes gaurds. If you looked into felis eyes …right at this moment you would see horror, terifiying horror. she tried stepping back but the hand gripped onto her shoulder even harder than before. she knew what happened to people that was caught by the gaurds. The got burned to death, tied up to a tree as it burned. this was how her mother died. tears sprang into Felis eyes scared of what would happen next.:

admin answers:

Your story grammatically correct (I think):

Feli ran down the street of her small, poor village, looking for her friend, Rimbaa. He was always a good hider, but Feli always found him. She jumped up onto the ledge of the blacksmith’s fence. She tried to step as lightly as she could and succeeded. Feli rounded a corner, nearly falling down, and saw the corner of Rimbaa’s head. She gave a huge grin.
“Ha, I see you, Rimbaa. I’ll catch up to you in no time.” She rounded another corner and saw a dead end. Feli gave a puzzled look. Rimbaa had disappeared. She looked around, trying to find him, when all of a sudden, somebody grabbed her shoulder. She looked around and saw one of the dark prince’s guards. If you looked into Feli’s eyes . . . Right at this moment you would see horror, terrifying horror. She tried stepping back, but the hand gripped onto her shoulder even harder than before. She knew what happened to people that were caught by the guards. They got burned to death, tied up to a tree as it burned. This was how her mother died. Tears sprang into Feli’s eyes, scared of what would happen next . . .

In my opinion, the sentences were awkwardly worded, and you did not do a very good job explaining the setting, and describing things in general. You really have to work on sentence fluency as well. But I am not an experienced writer myself, so do not take my impression on your writing, for concrete fact.

Also, work on your grammar, punctuation, capitalization etc. Writing takes dedication, and if you practice frequently, you will definitely improve.

Best Wishes,

Your Questions About For Those Who Think Young

May 27, 2013

Carol asks…

Do you think teenagers who are young and don’t look their age…?

Is bad?
My mom keeps injecting the fact that it is.
Teenagers should ‘look’ older but i don’t think so. What’s wrong with a baby face?
(Maybe i should apologise to her for not having size E boobs and a butt size of that even possible?)

admin answers:

As you grow older you will realize how nice it is to have a youthful look.

Life is VERY long and you are only young once . You could live to be 115 yrs old right now.
Live it up, play with barbies, and gossip about boys.
That is what youth is about

Sandy asks…

Do you think the woman who pranked the young lady into suicide deserves prison?

I personally do not think so. I think that if all people would get prison for harassment leading to suicide there would be a lot of people in prison.
Yes, It is the myspace case.
The story is that a woman said something along the lines of the world will be better off without you to a minor girl and she commited suicide. As for you person who said I deserve prison for writing this..Your an imbecile.

admin answers:

Although it is abhorrable that she would say something to anyone, ultimately it was the girl who took her own life.
She had a choice.
And I agree that most people who kill themselves do so as they are being bullied by others who put them down and make them feel worthless.
The girl should’ve ignored her. It was just that one woman’s opinion. The girl should’ve told her parents. Also, if she killed herself over one person saying that once, she was probably on the verge of doing something drastic anyway.

What this women did is morally disgusting but their is, unfortunately, no law against putting someone down unless you do it repeatably.
Did the girl say that this woman said that to her in a suicide note or something?

Donna asks…

This question is for anyone who has young children or someone who is a teacher?

If two three or four year old boys were given certain props such as stuffed animals, a toy stethescope and a toy thermometer and told to pretend that they were veterinarians. What do u think they would do during this pretend play?

admin answers:

They would probably pretend to take its temperature, act like they were listening to its heart, look in its mouth and tears. They may come up with a story as to why it had a “broken leg” and needed bandages, etc.

If you are trying to find a difference between boys and girls at this age you wont find a whole lot yet…well at least when it comes to being a vet. They are just discovering gender roles and what is encouraged by society (parents, friends, family, TV, etc.)
