Your Questions About For Those I Love I Will Sacrifice

April 15, 2013

Nancy asks…

Tattoo down the side of my body how much will it hurt ?

getting it done for my 18th down the felt hand side of my body saying “For those I love I will Sacrifice” in memory of my gran but i‘m scared

admin answers:

My brother is a tattoo artist and I have watched him give alot of tatts. That is probably one of the more painfull areas but it never hurts that bad and like your saying says you will sacrifice for the ones you love sounds like a cool way to make that saying really mean something. You’ll be fine, just remember “this too shall pass” it can’t hurt forever.

David asks…

People say love is about sacrifice…?

and that if you would sacrifice yourself for someone, you love them. But I believe that in the situation, I would sacrifice my life for more than just people that I love.

So is love really willing to sacrifice yourself? Do I love strangers? Or is love more than that, different than that?
No, I‘m not misunderstanding what it means. I‘ve heard many people say that if you would literally sacrifice your life for someone, that means you love them. This is what I‘m talking about.
I don’t give my organs to people in need of them because:
-I‘m too young to
-There are some other people who depend on me
-The results may still be death for BOTH of us-operations aren’t usually exactly safe. So it’s kind of illogical.

Good point, but that’s not a very good one at the same time :)

admin answers:

I totally get your ques…. In my opinion, yes. U love strangers as well. But just not in the same aspect… Its not the love for that 1person its the love of humanity, humans, ppl, and doing the right thing…. Thats why i believe that on some level, humans are naturally good that’s why we feel guilt and sadness when we do things we knw r wrong or c some1 n pain. Its n our nature to love and do for others….

Michael asks…

I am looking for a human Latin translator?

I am looking for a human Latin translator?
I would like someone to help me translate the phrase “For those I Love, I will Sacrifice” in latin
I am planning to get this as a tattoo and put it down my rib cage. Just want to make sure I get the most accurate translation possible. So far I have ” illi ego diligo ego mos vitualmen” I have a feeling this isn’t it because I received this translation from a computer translation website. If anyone can please help, I‘ll greatly appreciate it!

admin answers:

Your feeling is right. Translation sites usually create a mess. One way to say what you want is “Pro illis quos amo, sacrificabo.”

Your Questions About Carnitine

April 14, 2013
By

David asks…

Which of the following is a dietary stimulant that can safely be consumed in small amounts by most athletes?

A.Caffeine
B.Adrenaline
C.Carnitine

Im a little confused, i dont think b is right. I know carnitine is a dietary supplement, but i know caffaine can be consumed in drinks and stuff

admin answers:

It’s carnitine. There are some studies that link it to lowering fat levels and increasing muscle mass, although it’s primary use is as a treatment for certain heart disorders.

My advice to all is not to trust suppliments. Long term affects of taking suppliments are rarely investigated, and you can get all the carnitine you need from a steak (which is much more tasty)

Thomas asks…

Is it better take protein powder with creatine or not?

1. I’m going to use creatine and I also have whey protein powder. Is it better to use proteine powder when I’m in maintenance phase of creatine or I should take protein powder after maintenance phase of creatine. Can someone give me a detailed answer?
2. Is it OK to take glutamine and L-carnitine with them or not?

admin answers:

Ok, I answered your other question about creatine, so I won’t address it here.

Here are my favorite supplements in order what I like and use the most.

Whey protein
AAKG (arginine any version is good for me)
Glutamine
Creatine – not to often because I eat so much red meat.

Here is another tight protein smoothie

Lizzie asks…

If people have a limited amount of DNA that can be synthesized, is it a good idea to exfoliate?

When you exfoliate your bringing new skin to the surface, but if you do this alot are you not forcing alot of RNA production for the code of protein synthesis ? And it is key that people only have a limited amount of DNA don’t they? A limited amount of RNA that can code for these proteins that make up skin, such as L-CYSTEIN, L- CARNITINE, and all the rest ?

admin answers:

Peeling off dead skin won’t force your body to grow new skin any faster.

Your Questions About Naturally Improve Eyesight Without Glasses

April 13, 2013
By

Chris asks…

Contacts or eyeglasses? n_n?

I have glasses(rarely use) and the lenses fell off. Next week i’m going to an eye examination so i can get a prescription and a new pair, my dad thinks its the time whether or not i should get glasses, contacts, or both. I’ve never had contacts before and i really need glasses or contacts because i’m nearsighted and it gets annoying at school when i can’t see the board.

I’m afraid to get contacts because i hate getting things in my eyes, afraid of touching my eyes, afraid of them making my vision worse/blind me, and that i could lose them going to the back of my eyes.(I’m 15 btw)I’m really nervous about them

I look terrible with glasses on so i want to know these about contact lenses:

* Whats a good brand of contact lenses(for a 15 y/o) that don’t fall out easy, dry out fast, can possibly breath, and are good for first-timers?
* How many hours can you wear a contact?
* What are some things do i need to keep in mind while wearing/considering for contacts?
* Any dangers of contacts?
* Do they hurt? n_n

Okay thnx ;) I may come back and ask more questions about them btw so keep that in mind ;)

admin answers:

Like you I absolutely loathed wearing glasses. I think they make me look really geeky, so I wore contacts for years. I only wear glasses now because I found a style that suits me and I can’t be bothered with the putting in/taking out etc. Plus I’m older and glasses seem to suit older people more. Anyway in answer to your questions:~~~~~~~

It’s not possible for contacts to go to the back of your eye. I used to wear them every day and the worst thing that happened was I rubbed my eye and the (soft) lens folded and got lost in my upper eyelid. It just felt like I had something in my eye and I easily got it out.

It took me at least half an hour to get the lenses in the first time I wore them. I HATED sticking a finger in my eye. The technique is to use a mirror and use one eye to look at the other eye (ie you’re not focusing on the finger-end poking the lens straight in there!)

As long as you keep your hands clean, don’t handle noxious chemicals or spices before inserting or removing lenses, keep the lenses properly clean, and don’t overwear them, you shouldn’t have problems. A big advantage of contacts is that you can have a huge sunglasses collection, if you’re into that. Rather than having just one pair of prescription ones.

Also, contacts don’t fog up in rain, never catch on clothing, don’t get knocked. Mine have never ever fallen out, wereas glasses can fall off. Only thing you shouldn’t do with lenses in is rub your eyes, like I said.

It took me a while to get used to putting them in but I quickly learned to take them out without any mirror at all. Eventually I learned to put them in without a mirror either.

The ones I got on with best were called Specsavers Asphericlens, made of methafilcon A. Precision UV were also good, as they have around 75% water content. Asphericlens has slightly lower water but were more comfortable. Specsavers only trade in the UK but you can find methafilcon A lenses by googling.

If you have the extra cash and don’t want to be bothered cleaning lenses, daily disposables are obviously more hygenic. The only disadvantage is that they’re flimsier and very slightly harder to put in. Daily disposables are better if you only want to wear lenses occasionally eg at parties etc.

They used to claim you could only wear contacts for 8 hours. I used to wear glasses first thing in the morning and last thing at night and contacts in the middle of the day. The last lot I had (Asphericlens) I’m pretty sure had a 15 hour wearing time. My problem was I was sick for a long time and kept falling asleep with the lenses in and my optician said (judging by the state of my eye, not anything I said) thatt I’d been overwearing them.

I would say the main problem with contacts is if you have very sensitive eyes you can get this feeling like there’s something in your eye and you have to take the lens out, rinse it and put it back in again. I had this problem all the time in the mid 90s, but by the late 90s/2000s the technology had improved. Also the 1-step cleaning solutions are way better than ones involving different bottles, pills etc. I never had any problems with the 2 brands I mentioned.

Soft contacts do not hurt at all, you can’t even tell they’re in, except you can see clearly. They give better visual correction than glases. It’s basically like having naturally perfect eyesight. Just make sure you rember to take them out if you’re into catnapping!

Susan asks…

How can I achieve a genuinely healthy lifestyle?

17/F
I am really interested to be introduced to recipes without much sugar, sodium or cholesterol/fat. However, I still want it to taste good. Am I asking too much? I don’t want to eat healthy “alternatives”. I want the food I eat to be beneficial to my health. This is not for weight loss purposes. I just want to take better care of myself. Please educate me on this topic.

admin answers:

The best way is to avoid sugar in most items. Replace it with Stevia. It is an all natural plant extract that is as sweet as sugar with zero bad effects and is actually good for you. Avoid any deep fried foods. It doesn’t matter how they are done or in what oils, it is very bad for the body and attacks the circulatory system and the heart. If you are cooking food in the oven, do it on a rack and drain away the fat. If cooking chicken, turkey or anything that has a moderate fat level, boil it first or microwave it first, and drain the fat, rinse it, and then oven cook it. Buy whole grain breads. Never use margarine. Only use butter, and salt free butter is the best (usually found in the freezer section). Avoid soft drinks completely. Drink milk (chocolate or white / or rice milk if you are lactose intolerant … Chocolate or white) and unsweetened fruit juices or good old water. The sports drinks are as bad as soft drinks and are hard on your system. Even the ones that are sugar free. The sugar replacement is worse for you than sugar. Avoid potato chips, french fries, and all other junk foods. Eat Yogurt or fruit instead or cut up veggies instead. Make certain that the yogurts you buy are sugar free or very low sugar. The sweetness can come from the added fruit for flavour (the fruit will have a natural sugar content). Have a smoothie for breakfast every day (2 heaping tablespoons of plain yogurt, 1 banana, a few strawberries, and a small handful of other fruit pieces in a large cup. Top up with orange juice and put in blender till liquefied. Then pour into a glass and drink.) A great and easy breakfast that starts the day in a great way. It makes you feel good all day and keeps you regular too. It is great for your overall health and your systems operation of cleaning out the bad and enforcing the good. Eat at least 3 meals a day. Never miss your breakfast, and a small lunch and a fair size dinner. Or you can spread the meals after breakfast into 3 other small meals (which is actually better for you). If you drink, do so with moderation and avoid the junk foods that go with it. Use sea salt for flavouring instead of regular salt, and use it with great moderation. Cut up some veggies for snacks, and use a fat free dip for extra flavour.
This will change your metabolism around in about a 2 to 3 week period. If you have extra weight to lose, it will just fall off after that, and you will have a great amount of energy. It will also clean your system out at a rate that your body can comfortably handle. Your bad choloresterol levels will go down and disappear and the benefits to your health will be amazing. You will sleep better and have more energy. You will think better and clearer, your eyesight may even improve. In short order the old junk foods and fatty foods will not have the appeal at all and will actually taste bad or sickening to you after you have tasted the good stuff regularly. You will just lose those cravings completely. Walk a bit every day. This is good for the heart and your overall health. If you have a dog, walk it a couple of times a day. You will both enjoy it. You don’t have to do any heavy workouts, just be active. Your strength will increase with the better foods naturally, and you will feel more energized anyway. Extreme workouts are hard on the system and very hard on the heart, even for the most healthy person. The foods will taste much better and very mouth watering using the methods I have passed along. Try it. You will be completely surprised and changed for the better within an month. Not only is this a great way to improve your health, it is actually a considerably cheaper way to eat and it has great benefits.

Theres so many types of things out there im sure there is.im hoping someone knows.so Help!!! plz and thnk u

admin answers:

I read all the books about strengthening my eyes because my glasses are real thick. The muscles that control your eyes are smaller than a pinhead. You can not “build them up”.
The reason for the poor eyesight is the shape of the eyeball. Either too deep or too shallow. There is no natural way to change that.
I just wish my glasses didn’t get blasted in the rain so i can’t see..

Your Questions About If You Choose To Accept This Mission

April 12, 2013
By

Betty asks…

Christians, when chaplains bless military missions like they did the Enola Gay are they blessing the bomb?

When you bless a bomb or bullet are you desiring it be made consecrated and so more accurate? Less scatter? More deaths?

A Catholic chaplain [George Zabelka] did bless the Atomic bomb, btw —–and had a nervous breakdown afterwards.

Father George Zabelka, a Catholic chaplain with the U.S. Air Force, served as a priest for the airmen who dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945, and gave them his blessing. Over the next twenty years, he gradually came to believe that he had been terribly wrong, that he had denied the very foundations of his faith by lending moral and religious support to the bombing. Zabelka, who died in 1992, gave this speech on the 40th anniversary of the bombings.

The destruction of civilians in war was always forbidden by the Church, and if a soldier came to me and asked if he could put a bullet through a child’s head, I would have told him, absolutely not. That would be mortally sinful. But in 1945 Tinian Island was the largest airfield in the world. Three planes a minute could take off from it around the clock. Many of these planes went to Japan with the express purpose of killing not one child or one civilian but of slaughtering hundreds and thousands and tens of thousands of children and civilians – and I said nothing.

As a Catholic chaplain I watched as the Boxcar, piloted by a good Irish Catholic pilot, dropped the bomb on Urakami Cathedral in Nagasaki, the center of Catholicism in Japan.

I never preached a single sermon against killing civilians to the men who were doing it. I was brainwashed! It never entered my mind to protest publicly the consequences of these massive air raids. I was told it was necessary – told openly by the military and told implicitly by my Church’s leadership. (To the best of my knowledge no American cardinals or bishops were opposing these mass air raids. Silence in such matters is a stamp of approval.)

I worked with Martin Luther King, Jr., during the Civil Rights struggle in Flint, Michigan. His example and his words of nonviolent action, choosing love instead of hate, truth instead of lies, and nonviolence instead of violence stirred me deeply. This brought me face to face with pacifism – active nonviolent resistance to evil. I recall his words after he was jailed in Montgomery, and this blew my mind. He said, “Blood may flow in the streets of Montgomery before we gain our freedom, but it must be our blood that flows, and not that of the white man. We must not harm a single hair on the head of our white brothers.”

I struggled. I argued. But yes, there it was in the Sermon on the Mount, very clear: “Love your enemies. Return good for evil.” I went through a crisis of faith. Either accept what Christ said, as unpassable and silly as it may seem, or deny him completely.

For the last 1700 years the Church has not only been making war respectable: it has been inducing people to believe it is an honorable profession, an honorable Christian profession. This is not true. We have been brainwashed. This is a lie.

admin answers:

Military chaplains aren’t necessarily Christians, they’re religious officers.

They’re obligated by their service in uniform to provide for the religious needs of all members regardless of their religion.

Steven asks…

Politically Correct Little Red Riding Hood (looooooooong one)?

There once was a young person named Little Red Riding Hood who lived on the edge of a large forest full of endangered owls and rare
plants that would probably provide a cure for cancer if only someone took the time to study them.

Red Riding Hood lived with a nurture giver whom she sometimes referred to as “mother”, although she didn’t mean to imply by this term that she would have thought less of the person if a close biological link did not in fact exist.

Nor did she intend to denigrate the equal value of nontraditional households, although she was sorry if this was the impression conveyed.

One day her mother asked her to take a basket of organically grown fruit and mineral water to her grandmother’s house.

“But mother, won’t this be stealing work from the unionized people who have struggled for years to earn the right to carry all packages between various people in the woods?”

Red Riding Hood’s mother assured her that she had called the union boss and gotten a special compassionate mission exemption form.

“But mother, aren’t you oppressing me by ordering me to do this?”

Red Riding Hood’s mother pointed out that it was impossible for womyn to oppress each other, since all womyn were equally oppressed until all womyn were free.

“But mother, then shouldn’t you have my brother carry the basket, since he’s an oppressor, and should learn what it’s like to be oppressed?”

And Red Riding Hood’s mother explained that her brother was attending a special rally for animal rights, and besides, this wasn’t stereotypical womyn’s work, but an empowering deed that would help engender a feeling of community.

“But won’t I be oppressing Grandma, by implying that she’s sick and hence unable to independently further her own selfhood?”

But Red Riding Hood’s mother explained that her grandmother wasn’t actually sick or incapacitated or mentally handicapped in any way,
although that was not to imply that any of these conditions were inferior to what some people called “health”.

Thus Red Riding Hood felt that she could get behind the idea of delivering the basket to her grandmother, and so she set off.

Many people believed that the forest was a foreboding and dangerous place, but Red Riding Hood knew that this was an irrational fear based on cultural paradigms instilled by a patriarchal society that regarded the natural world as an exploitable resource, and hence believed that natural predators were in fact intolerable competitors.

Other people avoided the woods for fear of thieves and deviants, but Red Riding Hood felt that in a truly classless society all marginalized peoples would be able to “come out” of the woods and be accepted as valid lifestyle role models.

On her way to Grandma’s house, Red Riding Hood passed a woodchopper, and wandered off the path, in order to examine some flowers.

She was startled to find herself standing before a Wolf, who asked her what was in her basket.

Red Riding Hood’s teacher had warned her never to talk to strangers, but she was confident in taking control of her own budding sexuality, and chose to dialogue with the Wolf.

She replied, “I am taking my Grandmother some healthful snacks in a gesture of solidarity.”

The Wolf said, “You know, my dear, it isn’t safe for a little girl to walk through these woods alone.”

Red Riding Hood said, “I find your sexist remark offensive in the extreme, but I will ignore it because of your traditional status as an outcast from society, the stress of which has caused you to develop an alternative and yet entirely valid worldview. Now, if you‘ll excuse me, I would prefer to be on my way.”

Red Riding Hood returned to the main path, and proceeded towards her Grandmother’s house.

But because his status outside society had freed him from slavish adherence to linear, Western-style thought, the Wolf knew of a quicker route to Grandma’s house.

He burst into the house and ate Grandma, a course of action affirmative of his nature as a predator.

Then, unhampered by rigid, traditionalist gender role notions, he put on Grandma’s nightclothes, crawled under the bedclothes, and awaited developments.

Red Riding Hood entered the cottage and said,

“Grandma, I have brought you some cruelty free snacks to salute you in your role of wise and nurturing matriarch.”

The Wolf said softly “Come closer, child, so that I might see you.”

Red Riding Hood said, “Goddess! Grandma, what big eyes you have!”

You forget that I am optically challenged.”

“And Grandma, what an enormous, what a fine nose you have.”

“Naturally, I could have had it fixed to help my acting career, but I didn’t give in to such societal pressures, my child.”

“And Grandma, what very big, sharp teeth you have!”

The Wolf could not take any more of these racist slurs, and, in a reaction appropriate for his accustomed milieu, he leaped out of bed, grabbed Little Red Riding Hood, and opened his jaws so wide that she could see her poor Grandmother cowering in his belly.

“Aren’t you forgetting something?” Red Riding Hood bravely shouted. “You must request my permission before proceeding to a new level of intimacy!”

The Wolf was so startled by this statement that he loosened his grasp on her.

At the same time, the woodchopper burst into the cottage, brandishing an ax.

“Hands off!” cried the woodchopper.

“And what do you think you‘re doing?” cried Little Red Riding Hood. “If I let you help me now, I would be expressing a lack of confidence in my own abilities, which would lead to poor self esteem and lower achievement scores on college entrance exams.”

“Last chance, sister! Get your hands off that endangered species! This is an FBI sting!” screamed the woodchopper, and when Little Red
Riding Hood nonetheless made a sudden motion, he sliced off her head.

“Thank goodness you got here in time,” said the Wolf. “The brat and her grandmother lured me in here. I thought I was a goner.”

“No, I think I’m the real victim, here,” said the woodchopper. “I’ve been dealing with my anger ever since I saw her picking those protected flowers earlier. And now I’m going to have such a trauma. Do you have any aspirin?”

“Sure,” said the Wolf.

“Thanks.”

“I feel your pain,” said the Wolf, and he patted the woodchopper on his firm, well padded back, gave a little belch, and said, “Do you have any Maalox?”

Carol asks…

What do you think of this story?

I am writing a video game script and this is my summary so far. Sorry if it’s confusing, it’s basically the story in a nutshell. Oh, and the ending isn’t set. Also, I know the Final Fantasy games and they are the only video games I’ve ever played, so sorry if it’s slightly like some of the FF games.

Summary: Scarlet Farran, female soldier, and Fang Storm, airship pirate, join forces when Fang’s sister and Scarlet’s teammate Kate Storm is killed by the armies of Al’Fahr. The war between the humans and the Al’Fahr has lasted a hundred years now and has taken millions of lives all around the planet of Dehen. The many rulers of each side refuse to back down. Scarlet, the best soldier of the human troops, is devastated when her teammate and best friend Kate Storm is killed in battle. She is ordered by the ruler of the humans, Talim, to assasinate the ruler of the Al’Fahr, Valdim. In disguise, she meets Kate’s older sister Fang Storm at the edge of the village. They had met only once before. They decide to join forces to assasinate Valdim and avenge Kate’s death. But as the two are battling the Al’Fahr, King Talim is murdered by non other than a troop of Al’Fahr. Talim’s son Jeorge takes his father’s place as ruler. However, Jeorge foolishly accepts King Valdim’s fake peace treaty. He removes all troops and security in the human nations to find Valdim slaughtering them later. In panic he is killed as well and the humans are left in complete tyranny.

This only fuels Scarlet’s and Fang’s mission that was forgotten. It had not been called off, therefore they kept going, hearing about and seeing what the Al’Fahr were doing to the humans. In fact, it made their mission more important. If they killed Valdim, the war would end and peace would be restored as many of the Al’Fahr they came across had revealed that their troops no longer wanted to fight this war. If Valdim could be killed, a leader would be chosen out of the ruins of Dehen’s population. One particular Al’Fahr, Kaar Pon, joins the duo near the end of their mission to help them infiltrate Valdim’s castle to kill him.

Hope it’s okay :)
Feedback and suggestions is awesome :) Constructive critism too!
It’s going to be an action/adventure RPG although I’m just brainstorming right now :)

admin answers:

I reckon some criticism is needed for every good game. So here it is, the story needs to have twists and different plots like if u choose to take one path then the game would end earlier but the other path made the game longer so the replay value is better. Also u should have like a base on how all this begun. It could’ve begun ova burnt toast, the humans kidnapped the enemies leader. Also you could have two storylines: The humans and the Al’Fahr. Also have it set like Rachet and clank (planet to planet) except you have different places on the planet, it also should be pre made the idea of weapons and vehicles, so you know what to work with. When creating a story first you then need extensive changes as time goes by. Also forget FF and start from the beginning and removing parts which could break © laws, plus you will need to decide if it is gonna be rts, 1st person shooter or 3rd person (like prince of Persia). Besides the fact that this is only early therefore needing things to be thought about I reckon it is pretty good, except you should think about if you are going to make the game u r gonna need lots of money and a company. So if u have all that then after final production I would buy your game because it has a GREAT story and hearing that makes me think what the final design will be like!!!

Your Questions About For Those About To Rock

April 11, 2013
By

Donald asks…

What are 3 words that go together that include something about rock?

Examples:
Rock, Paper, Scissors
Sex, Drugs, and Rock and Roll

The thing is, I need a way to include Country, Classical, and Rock music all in one clever title.

I have Hicks, Wigs, and Rock and Roll, but I want something more clever. It doesn’t even have to be a trio. Just a clever way to bring those three types of music together. Like “Bach and Roll” for only classical and Rock, but I need all three.

admin answers:

Here’s one I just thought of:
You got Classical, you got classic country, and then you got classic rock.

Michael asks…

Can anybody give me some good, powerful rock songs about loving someone?

No hardcore or metal. Preferably classic rock. I already have Always by Bon Jovi, Faithfully by Journey, and This Aint Goodbye by Train. Im basically looking for those few songs that give you chill bumps no matter how many times you listen to them.

admin answers:

Just breath- pearl jam, wish you were here- pink floyd, if you only knew and second chance both by shinedown

Richard asks…

What comes with the rock band bundle for xbox 360? And what about Dance Dance Revolution Universe?

Does the rock band bundle come with the drums, guitar, microphone, USB hub, and of of course the game (I mean the first rock band not the 2nd and as said above for the xbox 360)? Or do you have to buy those seperately? And does Dance Dance Revolution Universe (also for xbox 360) come with the pad when you buy it?

admin answers:

The Rock Band bundle, Comes with all you mentioned, drums, guitar, mic, hub and the game. What kinda sucks is theres only one guitar, so that means no bass unless you have 2 Guitars. Thats why its called a bundle. And I’m assuming that the ddr:u comes with the pad if its a bundle.
