Your Questions About If You Choose To Violate The Law And Drive Under The Influence

March 21, 2013
By

George asks…

Can a Car Accident or a Mugger Kill Millions of PEOPLE in a Day or Week ?

Several people have responded to the Threat of Terrorism as less likely to kill you, than a car accident or violent crimes. Not just today, but many times when a question is posted about the Threat of Terrorism, some people respond with the ‘car accident theory’.

Are cars plotting to kill us all ? Or .. . Are TERRORISTS plotting to kill us ALL ?

admin answers:

Cars are not plotting to kill anyone, but morons who drive under the influence of drugs and alcohol are killing people every day. But more people have died because of these people who choose to violate the law than have died in the war on terrorism.

Richard asks…

Does the Christian bible say anything about that Christianality should NOT mix with together with politics?

Both Congress members Michele Backmann & Rand Paul are Hardcore Christians who mix Christianity with politics. I want to know that does the Christian bible says anything about God does not want Christianity should be mix with politics or other words? What I mean Christian bible, I mean ALL Christian bibles. Thanks!

admin answers:

Hogwash. We hold jobs, pay exorbant taxes, and live under the law. Why should we NOT take an active role in democratic government?

WHY CHRISTIANS SHOULD VOTE, RUN FOR OFFICE, AND TAKE PART IN GOVERNMENT:

It is our contention that it is the duty and responsibility of every Christian to vote and to vote for leaders who promote Christian principles. God is most certainly in control, but that does not mean we should do nothing to further His will. We are commanded to pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-4). In terms of politics and leadership, there is evidence in Scripture that God has been displeased with our choices of leadership at times (Hosea 8:4). The evidence of sin’s grip on this world is everywhere. Much of the suffering on earth is because of godless leadership (Proverbs 28:12). Scripture gives Christians instructions to obey legitimate authority unless it contradicts the Lord’s commands (Acts 5:27-29; Romans 13:1-7). As born-again believers, we ought to strive to choose leaders who will be themselves led by our Creator (1 Samuel 12:13-25). Candidates or proposals that violate the Bible’s commands for life, family, marriage, or faith should never be supported (Proverbs 14:34). Christians should vote as led through prayer and study of both God’s Word and the realities of the choices on the ballot.

Christians in many countries in this world are oppressed and persecuted. They suffer under governments they are powerless to change and governments that hate their faith and silence their voices. These believers preach the gospel of Jesus Christ at risk of their own lives. In the U.S.A., Christians have been blessed with the right to speak about and choose their leaders without fearing for themselves or their families. In the U.S.A., in recent elections, about 2 of every 5 of self-professed Christians took that right for granted and did not vote. About 1 in 5 self-professed, eligible Christians are not even registered to vote.

In our day and age, there are many who want to drive the name and message of Christ completely out of the public arena. Voting is an opportunity to promote, protect, and preserve godly government. Passing up that opportunity means letting those who would denigrate the name of Christ have their way in our lives. The leaders we elect—or do nothing to remove—have great influence on our freedoms. They can choose to protect our right to worship and spread the gospel, or they can restrict those rights. They can lead our nation toward righteousness or toward moral disaster. As Christians, we should stand up and follow our command to fulfill our civic duties (Matthew 22:21).

The Voice

Donna asks…

Can you be arrested for failing to Identify yourself to a police man (if you are not driving) ?

If you are say, walking down the street, in a house, or in a car (not driving) Could you be arrested for failing to identify yourself to a police man. Such as if you just did not answer any of his questions, Or just gave him a first name.

admin answers:

It depends on the circumstances, at least here in California.

Let’s assume the contact between you and the officer is what the police call a “consentual contact” (such as you are walking down the street, not violating the law, and an office approaches and asks to talk to you). During consentual contacts, you control the nature of the contact. The police can ask you questions, ask for your ID, ask what you are doing, etc. You do not have any legal obligations to answer questions or provide ID at this point and you can simply choose to walk away.

As soon as the contact is no longer consentual, then things change. As soon as you break a law, or are give the police probable cause to believe that you are, or have broken the law, then you must truthfully ID yourself. Failure to do so is a violation of California Penal Code 148.9 – a misdemeanor. For that you get arrested and get a free trip to jail. Of course you still have no legal obligation to answer questions since you do always have a right to remain silent.

Let’s give a real life example. I often contact people who are walking in drug saturated areas based on nothing more than driving up alongside them and asking them if they will talk to me for a minute. Once they agree I use our conversation time to assess whether they are showing signs of being under the influence of drugs. Once i make the determination that they appear to be under the influence the stop changes from a consent contact to a detention contact. Once that happens they must correctly identify themselves.

That being said, if the stop is a detention stop from the beginning – such as the police stop you for violating some minor law such as jaywalking – then you must truthfully identify yourself or you could be arrested.

Your Questions About For Those Tears I Died

March 20, 2013
By

Charles asks…

Which poem do you like best? Give me some critique? :) ?

Goodbye

I feel that old familiar sting,
As I return to you.
And I remember everything,
When time just flew and flew.

I feel that ache inside my chest,
And I hold back my tears.
A twisted, knotted, tangled nest,
Of those forgotten years.

As I get closer to that place,
And all those memories.
I close my eyes and see your face,
I barely hear my pleas.

I’m sorry, is all I can say,
Why did I let you leave?
I cannot keep my tears at bay,
I cannot help but grieve.

You let another replace me,
Another take my place.
Death conquered you,
You didn’t fight,
You lost that final race.

But now, seeing that cold, hard ground,
Where you lay, peacefully
I say goodbye for one last time,
And hope you forgive me.

A Farewell ♥

Though I am destined to depart
With dying tears and bitter heart
Will you wait for me, will you not forget?
Though I must leave, have no regret

I leave you with my memories,
My stinging pain and sorrowful pleas
I vow I shall return someday
For in your heart I‘ll always stay.

The battlefield is slick with blood
With dying bodies, dank with mud
There they lie, now put to rest
Now finished with life’s final test

I see your face, I call your name
From heaven comes sweet, fresh, new rain
And with my dying breath, I pray
That you will forgive me, someday.

Wind

I blow, I twist, I swirl and prance
So gracefully I whirl around
I‘m everywere, I move and dance
So beautiful, without a sound

I blow your hair, I cool your face
A fluid motion you can’t stop
I‘m something that cannot be chased,
So fast, I‘m like a spinning top

I climb the mountains, chase the sky
A living, breathing, abstract life
Unstoppable, I cannot die
Not by an arrow or a knife

Alluring am I, so stunning
So unpredictable I am
Myschievous, and so cunning
I ebb and flow like nothing can

Yet sometimes, in the mist of time,
I‘m caught up in a howling rage
Still magical, and still sublime
The sea my audience, the sky my stage.

The man I thought I knew

I feel the sand beneath my toes,
This overwhelming feeling grows
The moon shines down, I think of you
And of the man I thought I knew
Why you left, I cannot say
If I had asked, would you have stayed?
If I had said I loved you so
Would you have stayed or would you go?
As I look at the moon tonight
Its eerie glow, its ghostly light
I just can’t help but think of you,
And of the man I thought I knew.

In my dream ♥

In my dream, I see you there
The wind flies and circles ’round my hair
It seems so real, It seems so true
It seems as if there’s only you.

In my dream, we laugh, we dance
Our eyes meet, I‘m in a trance
You tell me I‘m the only one
Who makes you smile like the sun.

In my dream, you take my hand
as our toes sink into the sand,
The sky is blue, the water gleams,
and everything is as it seems.

I open my eyes, my tears grow stronger
why can’t it last one moment longer?
And everyday as I awake
I see your face, and my heart breaks.

I‘m a 12 year old girl, and I was just wondering what you think.

Thanks, :)

Ken asks…

What do you think of my poem ♥♥re-post♥♥..!?

Tears Falling Like Rain

Tears falling like rain
My sorrow is your sorrow
My pain is your pain
My heart is so hollow
Tears falling like rain
My voice is your voice
My soul is so mellow
Our choice is our choice
Tears falling like rain
Our spirits are dead
We do not love at all
Nobody ever said,
I will catch you
When you fall”
They say we are crazy
They say we are dumb
They say we are stupid
Our brains are so numb
They say we are mental
Tears falling like rain
They say, “Suck it up
Wipe your eyes, stop crying”
They never care to see
That inside we are dying
Tears falling like rain
They say, “We are selfish
For committing suicide”
But they do not hear us
In whom can we confide?
Nobody wants to listen
They watch every hour
As the passion of darkness
Our very souls’ devour
Tears falling like rain
Let the world think otherwise
Our tears shade the darkness
Within the solitude of our eyes
We need not say what we feel
This emotional attraction
To them, it does not appeal
They say we are helpless
They say we are unstable
They say we are insane
We are every negative label.

I suffer from MDD so this is just a poem I can relate to but more importantly for those who suffer from it also. (Major Depressive Disorder) I‘m 18 male.

I am major depressive disorder, 18 years old male, just wanted to get my feelings out. Dedicated to all those of similiar ordeals. We must keep pushing forward and never look back.

admin answers:

I can definitely empathize because there are important people in my life with depression. I think, it’s hard for those of us that don’t have these demons to understand, and your writing about it certainly helps.

Your Questions About For Those About To Rock Tab

March 19, 2013

Steven asks…

Gold fish question ?

I want to get a little gold fish about the size of a penny and here are my questions:

1. Can it live in a fish bowl like this http://images.google.com/images?q=fish%20bowl&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&sa=N&tab=wi with some rocks in the bottom and no filter or anything if I clean it once a week for something??

2. I heard that goldfish grow to the size of their tank, is this true?? So if I put a little goldfish in a little fishbowl like above then it will stay little right??

3. How hard is it to clean a fish bowl like that. I mean you just take the fish out, dump out the water, scrub the sides of the bowl, fill the bowl with water and put the fish back in right?? How often would I need to do this??

4. Estimate how much it would cost for the bowl, rocks to go in the bottom of the bowl, and the fish food??
Thanks everyone, I am not going to take a goldfish now… I didn’t realize they were so much work!! I wish everyone in my class knew this info!!
Thanks everyone!!

admin answers:

1.no they cant live in a small fish bowl. They need 20 gallons of water each. Dont even think about putting it there.

2. Its not true it actually makes them sick if they are in a small place. Their organs grow but not their body which causes problems

3.its not dump water, clean bowl ,add water, and your done. You should never do that. Why dont you go study the nitrogen cycle and about cycling your tank? You really need to know that to have a success full aquarium. You have to do water changes which is to take out about 25 percent of the water at a time since taking out all the water and putting new DE CHLORINATED water will make it stress out.

4. It depends what you are willing to get. I am going to tell you the stuff you will need, NOT for a bowl but for a proper sized aquarium.

FILTER-$50 at least

http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754143

FISH TANK-$100 OR you can try finding some at craigslist.org since they are a bit cheaper there

DECOR$10-15

http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3202499

GRAVEL-$15+

http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3054545

WATER CONDITIONER-$5

FISH FOOD-$5+

WATER TEST KIT-$10
when I fist wanted a fish tank, i thought it would be like 50 dollars but guess what? I have spent about 200 dollars on this hobby when I started and still counting because of its maitenance.

Chris asks…

Do all guitar players like in bands, etc, know how to read music?

I took guitar lessons for about 2 years and learned some of the basics that I totally forget now lol. But, I play trombone and take music class in school so I know like the lines and spaces, etc. I play guitar tabs and I just recently joined a rock band, but I was wondering if it was a waste of time to try to get famous if I don’t know how to read music for guitar? Can ALL famous guitarists read music?

admin answers:

Not necessarily, there are people who play completely by ear and are good at it, but most likely, a majority of musicians know how to read music. Its more accurate that way too if youre playing a cover or something. But if youre just writing music to a song, you don’t need to know how to read it, but it could help so that you can at least write the music down and not make it up and memorize it all at once. Music for guitar is easy to read anyways. If you go to ultimateguitar.com theres tabs and chords, and for the chords they’ll show you how to play the chord. After a while, you just remember which chord is which. And if youre just reading music from lets say something you play for trombone, just match the chord to the note, like a c note to the c chord. Its just making your fingers stretch enough for some chords and strumming in time that can be a challenge

Ruth asks…

Equitment for the Rock Band on PS2??

Hey, I played Rock Band with my friends at a Cyber Cafe and it was sooo much fun. Now I dont have a 360 or a PS3, but I do have a wii and a ps2. Its not coming out for the wii, but saw its coming out for ps2 on December 12th. I have the old PS2, not the slim one or whatever, but I looked at the Rock Band MTV Edition on Bestbuy.com

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8604389&type=product&tab=1&id=1192232281520#productdetail

It says that it comes with the mic, drums, guitar and everything, but what about the USB Hub?? I didnt understand how this can work, because the hub would have like 4 places to put it, but the things u would need to plug it in would have to be ps2, and that would be a HUGE USB hub. So I was wondering if I need a Multitap for my ps2….

How will this whole game work??? How can all the instruments be connected??

admin answers:

I was wondering that same question. I am pretty sure though that they will make the plug-ins for Rock Band differently for the PS2. Maybe you will need a multitap. I want this game and I am waiting for it to come out. I guess we just have to wait and see. If you need one, they are like 20 bucks. I hope you don’t. I <3 the drums though.

Your Questions About For Those About To Rock Lyrics

Thomas asks…

Rate my rock lyrics i wrote please?

this is going to be a mellow
acoustic song
its called Urge to Lose All Tension

My world’s all f**ked up
I’ve just about had enough
shrouded in disillusioned love
that sparks confusion and
sinister thoughts i think of
it’s artificial
there is NO benefit
It’s artificial
But it’s the best that I can get

It is so vague
and it spreads like a plague
and incredible sensation
it’s the urge
the urge
the urge to lose all tension

The blessed Ecstasy King
is all that comforts me
pure unadulterated serenity
it carefully picks me apart and
reads me through lobotomy
Mothers
are so overrated
Fathers
Just make you feel facilitated

It is so vague
and it spreads like a plague
and incredible sensation
it’s the urge
the urge
the urge to lose all tension

thanks for reading
and if you can please tell me
what does this song mean to you?
im 15 btw
the song is about using drugs as a conduit of your problems…
basically a way to supress them
i am using literacy devices
“like a plague”- that is a SIMILE
Ecstasy King- that is a metaphorical term that
i made it up which basically is the drug personified

admin answers:

These sound like Nickelback crap. Try to use literary devices instead of just strategically stopping and starting again while rhyming.
*edit* I mean, something along the lines of, I don’t know…Trying to not write a song about how your parents suck directly, and gradually reference how you feel about your parents and their inner suck. Perhaps then, it won’t sound like it took 30 seconds of aggravation to write your song.

Lisa asks…

are these rock lyrics better? (different song)?

this song is called waste not, want nothing..
its about when my mom used to be on drugs….
its from HER perspective
i just wrote this like 20 mins ago

verse 1:
i no longer want to be
fortune’s fool
im just getting so tired
of being used
ive showed all of my
dexterity
time and time again
but in the end
i still obey

chorus:
im suffering from indecent with drawls
cant explain these incidents at all
the orders are the calls of the anguished
my words of retort have been vanquished
ive been banished to where?
cause i don’t know
ive just hit an all time low

verse 2:
ive just been looking for the chance
to clear my head
but im just hopelessly causing more
internal damage instead
i really just want to get off
but i don’t know how
im slowly killing myself
i know this now
i need to turn my life around

verse 3:
get me away from it!
lock me away from the pleasure!
resisting is just becoming harder
assure me that im doing just fine!
tell me that im gonna be alright!
please i beg on my hands and knees
relieve me of these tightening leash!

thanks for reading
im 15 bt

admin answers:

Hey, that’s an amazing song.. I really can’t believe you wrote that yourself, and you’re only 15.. :O
Are you a singer, or in a band? You should really put yourself out there, you seem to have a talent with words.

Your Questions About For Those Who Have Heart

March 17, 2013
By

Robert asks…

Question for those who keep breaking up w/ the same person?

Over and over again.

Give me your HONEST opinion. Why do you keep having a off/on relationship with the person whose heart you broken?

Is it… guilt? Bored, lonely or single and know the person you dumped will welcome you back with open arms? A comfort thing because you know the person well? Found someone else and they broke your heart and now want to run back to the ex again? Feel you can’t anyone better than the ex?

Or do you have any other reason than the ones i mention?

One more thing, do you believe your ex is a sucker for taking you back multiple times? And are you currently together or off again?

admin answers:

I don’t know. I date them over and over, and I date others WITHOUT BREAKING UP MY MY LAST!!!

Lizzie asks…

How to win a girls heart who has a boyfriend?

I love this girl so much more than life and i cant imagine the rest of my life without her i almost cried when she started dating her current boyfriend she says her and her Boyfriend are “soul mates” and she hasn’t really talked to him for a few months and i have been hanging out with her since if anyone could tell me how to win her heart that would be the best thing in the world

admin answers:

If she is really in love with this guy and thinks they’re ‘soul mates’ than there is really very little you can do but wait. I don’t think it’s right for anyone to come in between two people who are (or believe the year) in love for their own selfish reasons. Besides, do you really want a girl who’d drop a guy she thought was her ‘soul mate’ for another one?

John asks…

Hand on heart who can honestly say they have never heard of Nicolai Tesla?

I just don’t get why people say he’s an unknown or underappreciated scientist/engineer.

But short of Newton, Einstien, Darwin, Gaelio possibly Leonardo Da Vinci etc. there are very few other scientists or engineers for that matter who get the same noterity in popular culture.

So where does this Tesla is an unknown scientist come from?
Spelling mistake…Nikola Tesla I mean of course.

admin answers:

I have very much heard of him. But i still would say he is underappreciated. Do a survey, and see if he even makes the list.
