Your Questions About For Those Tears I Died

March 31, 2013
By

Helen asks…

Can you relate to this poem..from the pit of my heart…?

Tears falling like rain
My sorrow is your sorrow
My pain is your pain
My heart is so hollow
Tears falling like rain
My voice is your voice
My soul is so mellow
Our choice is our choice
Tears falling like rain
Our spirits are dead
We do not love at all
Nobody ever said,
I will catch you
When you fall”
They say we are crazy
They say we are dumb
They say we are stupid
Our brains are so numb
They say we are mental
They say, “Suck it up
Wipe your eyes, stop crying”
They never care to see
That inside we are dying
Tears falling like rain
They say, “We are selfish
For committing suicide”
But they do not hear us
In who can we confide?
Nobody wants to listen
They watch every hour
As the passion of darkness
Our very souls’ devour
Tears falling like rain
Let the world think otherwise
Our tears shade the darkness
Within the solitude of our eyes
We need not say what we feel
This emotional attraction
To them, it does not appeal
They say we are helpless
They say we are unstable
They say we are insane
We are every negative label
Tears falling like rain.

Is there any way to escape the pain?

Dedicated to all of those who suffer from depression or any other mental disorder. I suffer from major depressive disorder and decided to write this poem as a way of releasing my pent up feelings. I hope you guys can relate and enjoy this read. Thanks!

18 years old and still looking forward never back.

admin answers:

Thanks for that. I can relate really deeply. Keep on looking forward, there’s nothing in the past worth looking back for.

Carol asks…

Can anyone please correct my story and make it sound better?

I was wondering if you could correct any spelling/grammar errors that you may see and if you have enough time, can you make the story sound more emotional? Because I want it to be as emotional as possible, and it would also be great if you could finish up the story a bit too. Please and thanks. Yes, I know my writing isn’t as good, so that is why I want you to make it sound better. Okay here’s the story:

We were like brothers who always looked out for one another, he had my back and I had his back. Whenever I needed his help he was always there for me, even at times of sorrow and despair, he was always there to comfort me and love me and letting me know that he’ll always be there for me no matter what. We’re really close to each other, I‘ll tell him everything about myself such as all my secrets, how my day went, to things about my personal life, etc pretty much all those everyday stuff that friends tend to talk about.

Sometimes on a regular afternoon, we’ll head over to the mountains to go watch the sunset together when we’re not on duty, and we’ll be watching while I‘ll lye my head against his shoulder and with him wrapping his arms around me. Our male bonding had grew stronger and stronger ever since. When we shower together, he always jokes around with me and peeks up on me while I‘m changing. He said that he’ll show me his penis if I showed him mine, so I did and we compared sizes with each other. It was a very great experience, something I‘ve never had in my whole life.

One time an Iraq soldier shot me in the stomach and I was bleeding constantly and eventually was gonna die. I was lying on the ground groaning in pain, he ran up to me and did everything he could just to keep me alive. When I was about to die, he fiddled on my hair and came close to my face and told me not to die, tears were dripping down his cheeks and he said he was always gonna be here for me, please don’t die. I touched his face and said don’t worry bro I know you love me a lot, I may not physically be here but you’re always gonna be in my heart. I‘ll be watching over you always.
Well it’s about two buddies who fought together during the war and stuff like that. Sorry if it was a bit confusing.
Actually it’s not really a story, but I am writing to a friend just to make him tear up. So please, if you can make it sound more emotional I would really appreciate it.

admin answers:

I haven’t made many changes as this is already good, i hope you like the changes i have made though.

Ken asks…

How would you rate the first chapter?

so I‘m writing a novel, I finished the first chapter, this is it:
Ian woke up at the sound of his phone ringing at 2:30 AM, grumbling, he checked the called ID to find Helen calling him, what now? He thought.
“Hello” he said with a sleepy voice.
“Ian! Ian thank god you answered me!” Helen wept into the phone.
She’s crying! But why is the question… He thought, but when Ian heard her crying he was immediately startled and suddenly very alert and awake.
“Helen? Helen what’s wrong? Are you okay?” Ian asked anxiously.
“Your dad Ian, it’s your dad, he’s…” she broke off crying and sobbing again.
“What’s the matter? What happened to him, Helen?”
She took a deep breath and sniffled, “You know what… Can you drop by my house?”
“Urn….. Yeah sure, I’ll be by your side in ten minutes.”

Before Ian even knocked, Helen opened the door and hauled him into a hug, Ian awkwardly hugged her back.
When she pulled away her eyes were red and full of tears. “What’s wrong, Helen?” Ian asked.
She took a deep breath,” Ian, I’m going to come clear, without any introductions,” Sniffle. “Your father died last night in a car accident, I’m very, very sorry Ian…”
Ian was shocked. Feelings he never felt since his grandma died tore at his heart that he had to clutch his chest with his hands.
“Oh Ian,” Helen started crying again. His head spun round and round, he felt as if his thoughts had been crushed into a pile of smoke, and the only thing he thought of was: would I survive living is this old house alone?.
I‘m not asking for describing characters, I want to know if I should keep up this way writing… so what do you think? should I change something?
sorry, instead writing caller ID I wrote called ID, that was a mistake :-/

admin answers:

I think that your story is good, but you need to check your grammer. Shouldn’t it be ‘Ian woke up to the sound’ not at the sound and also it should be caller ID not called ID. This is just an advice but other than that really good. I liked it, you included descriptive words and metaphors. Hope I helped

Your Questions About For Those In Peril On The Sea

March 30, 2013
By

Linda asks…

Why did God work miracles for Moses, Elijah, and Jesus? What is his purpose in miracles?

We know that as a rule, God does not intervene in human peril, whether to rescue those threatened by natural disasters like floods and tornadoes or those under attack by human killers. However, we have multiple attestations from reliable sources that God has intervened historically to part the sea, raise the dead, feed multitudes, walk on water, and heal the sick. Why did God intervene in these situations?

admin answers:

Usually God works miracles for a prophet in order to prove that this person really speaks for God.

Otherwise, anyone could just show up, give crazy commands, and be claiming to speak for God. How would you know who was telling the truth, and who was lying?

===edit===

Deuteronomy 4:33-35
Has any other people heard the voice of God speaking out of fire, as you have, and lived? Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by miraculous signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes? You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD is God; besides him there is no other.

John 3:1,2
There was a man named Nicodemus who was one of the Pharisees and an important Jewish leader. One night Nicodemus came to Jesus and said, “Teacher, we know you are a teacher sent from God, because no one can do the miracles you do unless God is with him.”

2 Corinthians 12:11-12
I ought to have been commended by you, for I am not in the least inferior to the “super-apostles,” even though I am nothing. The things that mark an apostle—signs, wonders and miracles—were done among you with great perseverance.

Lizzie asks…

Did Israel just start a ground offensive in the Gaza ?

Would you please join me in this prayer .

Prayer for the Welfare of Soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces

May He who blessed our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, bless the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces who keep guard over our country and cities of our Lord from the border with Lebanon to the Egyptian desert and from the Mediterranean Sea to the approach to the Arava, be they on land, air or sea.

May the Almighty deliver us our enemies who arise against us, may the Holy One, blessed be He, preserve them and save them from all sorrow and peril, from danger and ill.

May He send blessing and success in all their endeavors, may He deliver to them those who hate us and crown them with salvation and victory, so that the saying may be fulfilled through them, “For the Lord, your God, who walks with you and to fight your enemies for you and to save you”, and let us say, Amen.

admin answers:

Amen Bro.

Donald asks…

Global Warming Is Planet Earth in Peril?

FOR the people of Tuvalu, a group of islands no more than 13 feet above sea level, global warming is, not abstract science, but “a daily reality,” says the Herald.* Thousands have already left the islands, and many more are preparing to go.

Meanwhile, Robert, who lives in Brisbane, Australia, can water his garden only on certain days, using a bucket—not a hose. And unless he goes to a car wash that recycles water, he can wash only parts of his car—mirrors, windows, and registration plates. Why such restrictions? Robert lives in a part of the country that is suffering from what has been called the worst drought in a century. Other areas are even worse off. Are the problems in Australia and Tuvalu evidence of global warming?

What Some Predict

Many believe that human activities are a major cause of global warming, which may have catastrophic consequences for the climate and the environment. For example, large-scale melting of land-based ice and the expansion of the oceans as water warms could cause sea levels to rise drastically. Low-lying islands such as Tuvalu could disappear, as could large parts of the Netherlands and Florida, to name just two other areas. Millions of people could be displaced from such places as Shanghai and Calcutta, as well as parts of Bangladesh.

At the same time, rising temperatures could intensify storms, floods, and droughts. In the Himalayas, disappearing glaciers—from areas that feed seven river systems—could cause shortages of freshwater for 40 percent of the world’s population. Also at risk are thousands of species of animals, including polar bears, whose hunting grounds are largely on the ice. Indeed, reports already indicate that many bears are losing weight and some are even starving.

Rising temperatures may also foster the spread of disease by enabling mosquitoes, ticks, and other disease-carrying organisms, including fungi, to spread farther afield. “The dangers posed by climate change are nearly as dire as those posed by nuclear weapons,” says the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. “The effects may be less dramatic in the short term . . . , but over the next three to four decades climate change could cause irremediable harm to the habitats upon which human societies depend for survival.” Adding an even more ominous note, some scientists believe that changes attributed to global warming are occurring faster than they had expected.

What are we to make of these predictions? Is life on earth really at a crossroads? Skeptics of global warming say that such dire predictions are groundless. Others are not sure. So, what is the truth? Is earth’s future—and ours—in perilhttp://www.watchtower.org/e/200808/article_01.htm

admin answers:

Your Questions About For Those I Love I Will Sacrifice

March 29, 2013
By

Laura asks…

religious gay/bi/lesbian: would u sacrifice love for religion?

I dont know about other religions’ laws & rules but for Christianity, homosexual is a sin. (u might intepret the bible anyway u want, it’s ur life, but this is how I intepret it: the bible says homosexuality is a sin. Please don’t try to change my belief, as i don’t try to change ur belief)

I‘m a lesbian myself. But yes I will sacrifice love for religion. Meaning probably I will never be with a woman whom i‘m in love with. We’ve never done any physical acts together, even though we love each others very much, but we’re Christian so that’s forbidden.

What about u? Would u sacrifice love for religion?

admin answers:

No I couldn’t.

I’m straight, but I can’t imagine giving up love for a religion.

According to the Bible, and other sources; Most of our sexually related sins don’t even come from the Bible; I should be headed to the ring of fire for the things I’ve done myself.

I wasn’t married. I’ve done more than the missionary position. I use contraceptives.

I think love, true love, is never evil or wrong. Nor do I think it’s a one-way ticket to hell; Even in a same sex relationship.

I won’t try to change your religion, only I do wish to offer up that you learn more about the origins of the Bible.

It was written about one thousand years after the death of Jesus. The decision on what books to include and what books to exclude, meaning if you get right down to it, there are tons more gospels that were deemed “not cannon” or not worthy of being in the Bible, by MEN not by God.

So I guess what I’m trying to say is, do what you feel in your heart is right, but don’t live and die by the version of the Bible you have.

To have Faith is a great thing; but don’t bury your head in the sand! Learn more!

Thomas asks…

How can defeat a person who will sacrifice even his loved ones for the sake of God?

A guy suggested to take revenge on the martyr’s loved ones.
But the martyr loves God above everything and everybeing.
So, this is my response to him:

I think you are quite wrong. I think you don’t know the psychology of suicide-bombers. They believe that
(including their parents) that they will go to heaven immediately and do you know they don’t keep it secret
to their loved ones and are encouraged by them? Do,
you think they will care if their whole family be killed?
NOT AT ALL.
Even 1000 muslims are killed against one Jew–no Jew will exist in the world and killing all Muslims will creat NUCLEAR WINTER.
The Israeli Tactics worked for a while but the beginning of their end started after the Lebanon War.
Muslims will go to heaven after being killed and infidels to hell-fire–so what’s the lose?
The Prophet said, “Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the Hereafter) would wish to come back to this world even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again (in Allah’s Cause).” (Sahih Bukhari, 4:52

admin answers:

Hey! You know if you were to shave that beard, you would look just like Sponge Bob!
Whoa! How cool would that be?

Maria asks…

Which saying sounds better for a tattoo?

A friend of mine who served overseas wants to get a tattoo. She either wants the quote “For those I love I sacrifice” OR “For those I love I will sacrifice

Does it sound better with or without the will?

Either would work, because she did sacrifice by joining the military and she would sacrifice for someone she loves.

admin answers:

The first.

But don’t forget the comma… She’ll just look like a douche without the comma.

Your Questions About For Those About To Rock Tab

March 28, 2013
By

Betty asks…

How much to put on a 21st bar tab?

Okay, so I know that at a 21st an open bar (of sorts) is pretty much expected, however, I do not want myself or my parents to be stuck with a massive tab at the end of the night. I will be inviting about 90 people on the night – half is made up of my family, my boyfriends family (who are mid-20′s and older) and family friends (who are also mid-20′s and older), while the other half is friends who are around my age.

We are providing house beer, wine and champagne, soft drink and orange juice on the bar tab. The party will run for about 5 hours (don’t forget to take into account that a lot of people don’t rock up until half and hour/an hour into an event). Do you think $1500 going to be enough for a bar tab on the night?

admin answers:

I would consider about $3 – 4,000 for alcohol as these people are all going to be S*** Faced drunk, as long as the liquor is free, they will drink.

William asks…

What is generally considered the most influential album for your favorite sub-genre of rock?

Feel free to name sub-sub-sub-genres just to make it easier on yourself. Like if you just say metal, it’s gonna be really hard to pick a single album, but if you say Progressive Metalcore, then you have a lot less to choose from and it’s pretty easy to say “alright Colors by Between the Buried and Me is probably the best choice for this.” (and it is.) So yeah, be specific to make it easier.

For me, I’d say the most influential Indie Rock album is probably In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel. MAYBE Funeral by Arcade Fire but that’s still relatively new so it’s influence can’t be fully judged. In the Aeroplane Over the Sea impacted Indie Rock HUGELY. Specifically with the lyrics. So many Indie Rock lyricists write with extremely cryptic lyrics now just because Jeff Magnum did it and made it look so good.

BQ: Answer this or else.

BQ2: Our power went out while I was typing this. I was mad. It came on about 10 minutes later and I opened up Google Chrome which then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to restore the pages it was on since it didn’t shut down correctly. It restored this tab with every single character I had typed intact. Isn’t Chrome the best browser?

admin answers:

–’The Complete recordings of Robert Johnson’ – Blues

Without this album, (which was released originally as two successive collections, one in the 60′s and the other in the 70′s) the british invasion would not have been what it was and Rock and Roll would not exist in it’s current form at all…plain and simple.

–The Beach Boys – ‘Pet Sounds’ – 60′s Pop Rock

Without a doubt, one of the greatest albums ever made and one of my favorites. This albums was the band’s response to the Beatles’ ‘Rubber Soul’ and it became the album the Beatles responded to specifically with ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’. Brian Wilson’s genius laid to track with Phil Spector’s famous Wall of Sound made this album the harmonic masterpiece it is.

–Brian Eno – ‘Here Come The Warm Jets’ – Post Glam Rock

The exact nature of this album is hard to pin down. I like to think of it as being an ‘in-between’. It’s unique brilliance makes it too fluid and precious to label as any one thing and Post Glam Rock even seems like a misnomer. After his split with Roxy Music, Eno began a stunning solo career as both artist and producer with this album. He would go on to produce for many bands including, notably, The Talking Heads, Devo and Coldplay (‘Viva La Vida’). It’s one of my absolute favorites….trust me on this one.

–The New York Dolls – ‘The New York Dolls’ – Post Glam Pre Punk

This band crawled out of nowhere in the early 70′s, predating the CBGB era of the late 70′s, to produce as pure a punk album as you’ll find. Any fan of Punk owes this band and this album everything. Without it, much of what the movement became would not have been at all.

–’Nuggets: Original Artyfacts From The First Psychedelic Era 1965 – 1968′ – Garage Rock

Another reason for Punk fans to rejoice. Lenny Kaye, future Patti Smith Group guitarist put this beautiful compilation together in the early 70′s and it’s affect on the musical landscape is notable. Punk began, contrary to popular belief, long before CBGB’s and bands like ‘The Ramones’, ‘The Clash’ or ‘The Sex Pistols’. Punk is an attitude and an aesthetic more than anything else and the first detectable whiff of it’s scent came in the mid-sixties as millions of American youth picked up instruments, had maybe a week’s worth of lessons and hammered out one or two magnificent singles before sputtering into obscurity. Sure, there were a few exceptions that held tightly onto modest longevity like ‘The Standells’, ‘The Chocolate Watchband’, ‘The Seeds’, ‘The Shadows of Knight’ and so on, but for the most part, each had it’s one shot at 15 minutes. And they had attitude. This music is dripping with it. The artists and musicians that made Punk what it became, worshiped the approach and simplicity of Garage. It’s no wonder that this album was the only compilation to make it onto Rolling Stone Magazine’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list.

–The Velvet Underground – ‘The Velvet Underground & Nico’, ‘White Light/White Heat’, ‘The Velvet Underground’, ‘Loaded’ – Nihilistic Rock & Roll

It has been said that anyone who purchased an album by The Velvet Underground in its time either started a band, played in one, produced an album or became involved in music in some way. The band’s influence on the course of musical history cannot be understated…so I listed their entire official discography. I’ll warn you ahead of time, ‘White Light/White Heat’ is their most experimental album and can be hard on the ears for many, but ‘Sister Ray’ is 17 plus minutes of beauty. You can’t go wrong with the other three. ‘Loaded’ is one of my absolute favorite albums and ‘Sweet Jane’…my favorite song of theirs, let alone one of my favorites, period.

–The Kills – ‘No Wow’ – Other than Progressive Indie, I have idea what to call this.

I bought this album on vinyl for a modest $12.00 at a record store in Orlando back in college upon recognizing it from an article on The Coachella Festival in 2005. When I got home, I turned on the tv to watch the Bears game….It was a Sunday. I turned off the sound on the tv, cranked my speakers and dropped the needle, ironically, on side two (apparently, I can’t read), but none the less…..I didn’t move for a minute or so. I was utterly stunned by what I heard and to this day, I have to listen to the album that same way, side 2 first. There’s no telling what if any affect this album up from the muck and primordial sludge will have on music down the road, but it sure hit me like a kick to the teeth. Incidentally, Allison Mosshart of The Deadweather was prior the lead singer of The Kills.

BQ: Sorry, not a fan of those guys.

BQ2: Not in a position to comment

John asks…

i need a rock/alternative song that is somewhat new and one that i can play on an acoustic guitar.?

i am trying to learn more songs for my acoustic guitar… i have been playing for about 5 years now and i need a new song… something up beat and fun to play would be great… and could u please send me a link to the tabs or a music video? thnx

admin answers:

The entire Acoustic album by Bayside should tickle your fancy. It isn’t super new, but it isn’t very old either. I think it’s from 2005.

As for the tabs, you could try websites such as www.ultimate-guitar.com, www.911tabs.com, www.azchords.com, etc.

Your Questions About For Those Tears I Died Lyrics

March 27, 2013
By

Robert asks…

What do the following lyrics mean? What is the artist trying to say?

Primarily the chorus:
Let me out, let me out I’m singing
Let me out, let me out I’m singing
I’m a liar and a cheat in prison
Accused of telling the truth

here’s the rest of the lyrics
I found some peace today
I grit my teeth
And swallow all my pain and selfish pride
I use to hide behind

Let me out, let me out I’m singing
Let me out, let me out I’m singing
I’m a liar and a cheat in prison
Accused of telling the truth

Flames of pain stained paint my eyes
Child I‘ve lost this face won’t lie
Time burns my souls decay grey
Sifting through the smoke and lies
Swimming exhale our love that’s died
First and last ain’t ever the same, so I’ll keep on singing this
I don’t care if you’re right or if I‘m always wrong
Just want to sing my song before this whole world

Now and forever
I stand to sever all ties and connections with recollections of pain or fear
Family, society, authority and every peer
Swallowing tears, lien’ in my stomach
I‘m getting free-er every second eroding and exploding
All these corporate deceptions right here I‘m…

Metal prison bars block our minds
youth’s truth sold and televised
I never bought it and I won’t play your games, for fame
Are we just rats in a pipers tune soothed,
Scraping for cheese in a maze made to lose
No, I’m not and I won’t eat your food… Subdued
I don’t care if your right or if I’m always wrong,
Just want to sing my song before this whole world …GONE

admin answers:

He’s using a play on words.

Being prosecuted for telling the truth.

Even though he siad the truth, he’s still being treated as a liar.

Sounds like its about a relationship ending.

Mark asks…

Are these good lyrics?

i realize i cant put the music for it on here, but i can post the lyrics. just realize, im only 12

Forget me not
Love me lots
We shared the tears

Forget what i said
Where was my head
All those years?

If I could take back what I did
When I was just a stupid kid
I could have said what i want to now

For get me not
Love me lots
Hold my had forever
never leave and never ever
say goodbye
i want you hear with me

and it goes on
wat do u think?
i realize it makes little sense without the music to go with it (i would post it if it was possible) but i just want to no wat u think of the lyrics

oh and btw its about a parent dying and someone regreting not being able to make up with them
a couple more details. is an alternative song (really nothing like anything else i write). the whole song has an over all slow temp but the beginning and If i could…. part are slower than the rest

admin answers:

Tht is really good like most of the time I thought you were talking about a boyfriend…and at the end….it gets really jumbled…but I really like this and I would like tottally buy a whole cd..if it just had this one song. As long as the music is ok and gos along with it.

Paul asks…

A question about the song lyrics to “Champagne Supernova” by Oasis?

What is the meaning of this song? It feels like there is something deeper to these lyrics

Champagne Supernova
By: Oasis

How many special people change
How many lives are living strange
Where were you when we were getting high?
Slowly walking down the hall
Faster than a cannon ball
Where were you while we were getting high?

Some day you will find me Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova in the sky
Some day you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova
A champagne supernova in the sky

Wake up the dawn and ask her why
A dreamer dreams she never dies
Wipe that tear away now from your eye
Slowly walking down the hall
Faster than a cannon ball
Where were you when we were getting high?

Some day you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova in the sky
Some day you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova
A champagne supernova in the sky

Cos people believe that they’re
Gonna get away for the summer
But you and I, we live and die
The world’s still spinning round
We don’t know why
Why, why, why, why

How many special people change
How many lives are living strange
Where were you when we were getting high?
Slowly walking down the hall
Faster than a cannon ball
Where were you while we were getting high?

Some day you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova in the sky
Some day you will find me
Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova
A champagne supernova in the sky

Cos people believe that they’re
Gonna get away for the summer
But you and I, we live and die
The world’s still spinning round
We don’t know why
Why, why, why, why

How many special people change
How many lives are living strange
Where were you when we were getting high?
We were getting high
We were getting high
We were getting high
We were getting high

admin answers:

Drug addiction.

“Some day you will find me caught beneath the landslide.”
This is a reference to ODing

“Slowly walking down the hall Faster than a cannon ball” this is a reference to stimulents.

Watch the video. See the guy laying in bed wide awake while the room spins. Symbolism for being unable to sleep.
