Your Questions About An Impaired Immune System

James asks…

How does the lymphatic system facilitate immune response?

what are it’s components that enable the Lymphatic System to do this?

admin answers:

Lymphatic system is a system of lymphatic vessels that absorb the fluid that leaks out of the blood vessels and lead it back to blood.
Blood vessels have blood and blood have white blood cells that fight with the foreign bodies such as bacteria.
Similarly at regular intervals lymph vessels have swellings which are called lymph nodes, lymph nodes contain T Cells and B cells. Which helps against fighting bacteria and kill them by activating various protective phenomenons.
T cells and B cells are very important in production of antibodies and in the prevention of future of infection.
In AIDS , the HIV virus destroys the helper T cells and render the person prone to bacterial infection as the major protective phenomenon mediated by T cells impairs.
White blood cells alone can’t protect the body form infections alone. WBCs, T cells and B cells all are important for proper immunity if one of them get damaged or missing person becomes imuno-compromise that is his immunity will decrease

Joseph asks…

How can I stregnthen my immune system?

I have the tendecy of getting sick quite a lot. I’m sick now and this is the third time this winter! I got sick in the beginning of October, mid November and now again. I don’t understand, I wash my hands a lot and I dress warmly when I go outside, a large jacket, gloves, scarf, etc. I did visit a (sick) friend a few days ago, so I’m thinking maybe I caught some influenza germs from her. What is another way to prevent getting sick so often besides washing hands and covering up?

admin answers:

There are a number of foods and nutrients you can use for strengthening the immune system. You should get as many vitamins and minerals as possible through food, rather than through supplements, because the body absorbs nutrients from food more effectively.

Vitamin C (citrus fruit, broccoli)

Vitamin E (nuts, vegetable oils, and whole grains)

Garlic (also a natural antibiotic)

Zinc (beef, turkey, beans, oysters, crab)

Bioflavenoids (fruits and vegetables)

Selenium (chicken, whole grains, tuna, red snapper, lobster, shrimp, garlic, egg yolks, sunflower seeds, brown rice)

Carotenoids (carrots, yams)

Omega-3 fatty acids (nuts, salmon, tuna, mackerel, flaxseed oil)

You can also take supplements, since you may find it difficult to get all the vitamins and minerals from what you eat alone. More is not always better, since overdoses and related adverse effects can occur. Make sure to talk with your health care provider, or with a nutritionist, about what kinds and amounts of supplements are appropriate for you.

In addition to what you eat, certain lifestyle changes can boost your immune system. It sounds like you already do a lot of these.

Washing your hands thoroughly and often with soap and warm water, particularly before eating and after using the bathroom. This reduces the number of organisms that can enter your body.
Cooking meat thoroughly to kill dangerous bacteria and other microorganisms.

Getting at least eight hours of sleep every day — deep sleep stimulates and energizes the immune system.

Maintaining a healthy weight — obesity can lead to a weakened immune system. Exercising at least 30 minutes most days of the week — physical activity stimulates the immune system and helps with weight maintenance or reduction.

Consuming alcohol moderately if at all — while one drink does not appear to affect immune response, having three or more drinks in a short period starts to impair white blood cells’ functioning.

Eat less sugar — 100 grams of sugar, the amount in one 12-ounce can of regular soda, can reduce the ability of white blood cells to kill germs by 40 percent for up to 5 hours!

Don’t smoke — smoking can lead to lung and other cancers, and also weakens the immune system.

Reducing and managing stress, such as effective time management — long periods of feeling stressed weakens the immune response.

Getting the vaccines recommended by your health care provider.

I hope this helps!! Good Luck and hope you feel better soon.

Chris asks…

What is a disease associated with the digestive system?

a disease associated with the digestive system and describe how it impairs normal functioning of the system.
What possible preventative measures or treatments are available in order/treat this disease?

admin answers:

Most every disease is associated with impaird digestive system.Your immune system is in the gut.We are being born with no good gut flora, due to antibiotics. You need good gut flora to fight off illness.I don`t know,if I can describe how it impairs normal functioning, but,if you contact Kirkman Labs, they sell supplements for kids with autism, they have a good book, that describes, what vaccines, candida, leaky gut, food intolerances and vitamin deficiencies can do,to the body. That is what autism is,auto immune illness, and the their book is very good at decribing what has gone wrong, and how to fix it.Hard to fix, but, not impossible.Look at reversingautism website.Every single disease is linked to the ability to digest nutrients. Also look at the GAPs diet.Tells how in generations past, the food was fermented, which made it easier to digest. Also, grains were allowed to sprout in the fields before being ground into flour. This left the nutrients and enzymes intact.Pasturized homogenized milk has no enzymes or nutrients. They have been cooked out.Must repopulate the gut with good gut flora with lots of fermented foods.Bone broth soup was the secret of the soup in generations past. The bone marrow had lots of easy to absorb nutrients.Today,in USA,much of our food is GMO are processed, and we can`t digest it.

Your Questions About If You Choose To Pull The Trigger

February 13, 2013
By

Donald asks…

Is my writing good? What do you think of it?

I have to show someone my writing so i decided to choose this one, how is it?

The sickening sound of the gun echoed threw out the empty house with a deadly bang. It was silent before the gun was aimed. The ideal shot in prospect all there was left to do was pull the trigger. Too rapid to even think about what pulling that trigger could cause, the consequences, and the fact that it would rip a soul from a body. The sound of steady breathing stopped as soon as the bullet reached the tender skin. All was left was a lifeless, blood covered body.
The gun man’s heart was racing he wiped his clammy forehead with the back sheet white hands that there once clad in leather, black gloves. He was trembling as his eyes darted over the lifeless figure lying on the ground feebly. The gun still shaking in his right hand ready to slip out of reach, the last and only bullet had been shot. He gradually put the empty gun in his pocket turning around. He took one last glance at the figure before vanishing into the empty dimness.
Rain pattered like the soft beat of a drum and the flashing of lightening lit the gloomy ridden sky followed by the crack of thunder crashing against the murky gray skies. The rain steadily tapped against the streets of the city once filled with busy people unaware of what horrifying events took place the following night. The sound of hurried strides echoed through the vacant streets only to be enclosed up by the rain’s stable beats.
The street light barley lighting the unfilled side-walks, its dim light flickered threatening to go out. The perfect night for such a crime to be committed everyone oblivious to the gun’s bullet that had been shot. The revolting sound the bullet could’ve been mistaken by the sound of thunder clashing. Everyone safely sleeping in their beds, while the dead body is lying in its own blood, and a murder roaming the unoccupied streets alone in the ghastly storm.
No one would conclude that the man clutching the gun with wobbly hands would commit such a heartless crime. No one anticipated that person would be killed, everything fit together in this crime like the pieces to the puzzle. No flaws could be established, what made this crime so ideal is that no one knew, and if this murder was fortunate, no one would ever know that the mysterious man walking the streets before dawn was capable of such a soulless act.
Soon the dreary and fearful skies faded to a soft blue. Soon the sun rose and the city came to life with its normal buzzing and bustling of cars or business men.

I am 13 years old and going into 7th grade after summer. What do you think?
Thank you so much!!!

I would like it if others who answer tell me which parts are repetitive.
alright for the last two sentences i changed it to:

Soon the dreary and fearful skies faded to a soft blue. Shortly afterwards the sun rose and the city came to life with its normal buzzing and bustling of cars or business men.
If you don’t mind (i ask too much of the people answering mu question O.o) may you please tell me which parts seem too over-descriptive, this isn’t the first time I’ve gotten this comment on my writing, tell me how to cut back as well! Thank you
Just to clearify its just the beginning its been a while since someone thoroughly went through my writing like… that…
@I’m Under your bed:

1. I did not give you that thumbs down
2. I guess since your 10 your really immature…
3. That’s Very Rude
4. its hard to take someone seriously when they’re being a brat!

admin answers:

-”threw” should be “through”. Threw is throwing a ball. Through is echoed though a house.

-You have a lot of adverbs. Try to cut them out and show more instead of telling the story.

-The descriptions you have are a bit awkward and odd. They don’t make much sense. I see what you’re trying to do, but it doesn’t make much sense. They don’t flow right.

-”The gun man’s heart”, give the guy a name or something. Saying the “gunman’s heart” sounds a bit odd. Even more since you’re writing in his POV, he should have a name.

-Reread some of your sentences. You’ll find you repeated some things in the same sentence where you don’t need to. “The street light barley lighting the unfilled side-walks, its dim light flickered threatening to go out.” First, “barely” is how you spell it and “sidewalks” is spelt like that. Also, you mention light, lighting and light all in one sentence. You don’t need to repeat it each time.

-This entire thing seems like it’s just about the sound of the bullet. You mentioned the sound earlier, don’t repeat it in the end as well. Also, it’s too much to have this many paragraphs about ONE SOUND.

It’s not entirely bad, but it does need a good amount of work as well.

@I’m under your bed-You received thumbs down from people because you’re rude and immature. You lie about your age, but I guess it doesn’t matter. You’re reported because you violate the guidelines for saying you’re 10 years old. That’s what happens when you’re a jerk.

Suicide’s on your side part 4:

Chris talking:

My life is over. I guess this is the end
I never went to parties. Never had any friends
I’m dying with a good cause, I wasn’t meant to have revenge

Suicide talking:
Hurry up and do it if you really wanna die
There’s no use for you on this earth if you’re just gonna cry
The river of your pity is beginning to overflow
So shut up, pull the trigger so you can go ahead and go!

Chris talking:
But something’s in my spirit that’s keeping me from pulling the trigger
I was meant to belong on this earth and it just figures
I don’t know what this is, but it feels so good
It’s soothing my pain when nobody else really could

Poetry talking:
I’m the one who is soothing your pain
I am the sun to your constant rain
If you use me Chris, you’ll never ever lose
Life or death Chris is your choice so go ahead and choose

Suicide talking:
Don’t listen to her Chris! She’s just another girl
A girl that wants to get in your head and shatter your world
Stay away from her Chris, because I’m sensing some type of envy
She’s a snake in the grass and she is not friendly

Chris talking:
You’re a despicable liar, you’re one who is envy
You’re the one who tried your best to tempt me
You’re the one who left my heart and soul empty
The whole time we were friends, you were against me

Poetry talking:
That’s it Chris, just keep on fighting
Your words are the thunder and I’ll be your lighting
You and me together can make things so frightening
So leave suicide, Chris is gonna befriend me

admin answers:

This is great! Poetry is winning the battle. I used to call it World War Three – the battle between me & me. Good writing and good ending to a good story. It may be a battle that rears its ugly head again, but, make sure you win the war. God bless.

Of course sin is God’s fault. God created humans, Satan, and the ability to sin. But admitting this would shatter the perception that God is perfect, which Christians wouldn’t like.

Your Questions About If You Choose To Take This Mission

Ruth asks…

Why did Jesus betray Judas? chose him as a disciple then used him to fulfill his mission? ?

Jesus Predicts His Death
Matthew 20:18-19
18″We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death 19and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. ”

Jesus knew it was Judas:
——–
Matthew 20:26
20When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve. 21And while they were eating, he said, “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me.”
22They were very sad and began to say to him one after the other, “Surely not I, Lord?”
23Jesus replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. 24The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”
25Then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “Surely not I, Rabbi?”
Jesus answered, “Yes, it is you.”
——————-
John 13:27-29
27As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him.
“What you are about to do, do quickly,” Jesus told him, 28but no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him. 29Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the Feast, or to give something to the poor.
——————-
Matthew 27:5
This has prompted Judas to Hang Himself :
5So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.

———–

What kind of a lord is this jesus who uses his own disciple for his own interest… Does he condone SUICIDE then?

admin answers:

At least you know GOD.
As for this HIS ways are way above ours as well as HIS thinking.
We cant imagine what GOD is like.
So to say what you said about HIM…you have no idea why this happened only what satan has told you.

But ur still alive so u still can have eternal life.

John 3:16

Laura asks…

Mass effect 2 suicide mission help?

i finished mass effect 2. yesterday. stayed up late 4 in the morning it was so worth it. i couldnt let go off my controll. anyway since it was first time playing through i had few missions that i didnt complete. and made few mistakes

i earned the loyalty of all team members except miranda and legion.
so heres what i did on the final mission.

for the tech/vent i chose – jacob.
second team leader – zaeed.
escort the crew – tali
biotic – miranda. with garrus and grunt
for the final part where you have to fight the reaper i took grunt and thane.

and in the end i lost miranda, garrus, jacob, legion and zaeed.

miranda and legion died while guarding the door. garrus got sucked by those flying things because miranda couldnt handle biotic barriers. jacob got blasted to the face and zaeed died while leading the second team.

since it was my first time playing through i chose wrong people for the jobs. im planning on replaying the last mision since i saved the game before the mission began. so i can assign the correct people.

So i was wondering with my situation,

1) how do i save all of the team members?

2) if i cant then at least i wanna have garrus and legion live cus garrus is my favorite and legion is an interesting character. since he is geth he might have important role in mass effect 3.

i dont really care for jacob, miranda or zaeed so for me its ok to have them killed. Miranda is a cerberus b.i.t.c.h and jacob is just boring. zaeed i find just obnoxious. (These are my opinion so dont get all riled up)

thanks

admin answers:

You just have to assign the right people to the right tasks.

For going through the vents, send Tali, your only loyal tech specialist.

Second team leader needs to be somebody who is good at commanding a team, so you have either Garrus or Miranda. Obviously go with Garrus.

I believe escorting the crew back is a bit more flexible. I found Jacob suited for that task.

For biotic expert, you must choose between Samara or Jack. Either of them work fine as long as you command their loyalty.

As for the final part, you must bring two LOYAL crew members. Bring one loyal and one unloyal, and both will die. If you follow those instructions you should be golden.

Your Questions About An Impaired Use Of Language Is Known As

Sharon asks…

I want to learn American Sign Language. What is the best way?

I know very few signs, but I can spell words faster then you can read them. I want to pursue a career in signing. I want to become good, and not spend 5 years on it.

admin answers:

I’ve studied asl/american sign language through Wayne County Community College. I thought my youngest son was hearing impaired. As it turned out, he was Speech impaired and ignoring me. So, I honed my skills by volunteering at the Detroit Day School for the Deaf. It’s good to practice with the kids. They have allot to say.
I was also had a piano student who was deaf. It was fun to improvise to make you understood to the hearing impaired. //~_~

Steven asks…

Whats a quick and easy way to learn sign language?

A new co-worker at work is hearing impared (deaf) and I want to learn sign language to communicate with her. Where’s a good place to learn some?

admin answers:

I would start with the alphabet. Learn the alphabet from a library book or the web. Many things are finger spelled and while you are working on learning the many words that you will find in books you can at least spell something if you are stumped.
I just a hearing impaired student placed in my classroom (I teach Spanish) and although I used to know many signs I have forgotten. I plan to brush up, but in the mean time if the interpreter is not available I can at the very least spell something to him if he was unable to read my lips.

Donald asks…

I want to become a Sign Language interpreter?

I have always had a passion for learning ASL and have taught myself a lot. I don’t know any one who is deaf or hearing impaired, but this is something I really want to do. I am currently a medical transcriptionist. Can anyone give me information on how to get started or where to look to get started, training required, job demand, that sort of thing? Thank you!

admin answers:

Hi, hope you don’t mind lengthy answers!

First, you need to learn the language fluently. I’d suggest looking into community colleges in your area that offer courses. If you already know some sign they will most likely test you to place you into the appropriate level.

Your best bet with interpreting is to go through an Interpreter Training Program (ITP). There are ones that offer no degree, others that offer AA, BA, MA and PhDs, so depending on your current educational level you can find one to suit you. The best way to find one in your area is to go to www.rid.org on the left side there is a menu box with the option “Find Interpreter Education Program” it’s a search engine to help.

The reason I highly recommend going through an ITP is for certification in the field later. An ITP will teach you everything you know to prepare you for certification testing. RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) offers the National Interpreter Certification test for interpreters. The test includes both a written portion as well as skill assessment and ethical portion.

To qualify to take the NIC test, currently you are required to have an Associate’s Degree. In the year 2012, RID has decided to up that to a Bachelor’s Degree. The degree can be in ANYTHING.

Some states have licensing requirements as well, so you want to look into that.

The job demand is strong, but really depends on your area. I would suggest googling your state name with RID Chapter and look for your local chapter. They should be able to help you with licensing and any other questions you have!

Hope that helps!

Maria asks…

CHRISTIANS: Has the Bible ended its mission?

It came with great surprise for me to know recently that Bible theologians, scholars & experts concluded that the Bible, through Jesus Christ, had already ended in John 19: 30 (Jesus Last Words, “It is accomplished.”).

As the newest interpreter of the prophetic words of God, i.e., claiming to have accurately decoded the words in Daniel 7, Genesis 1-3, 2 Peter 1-3 and Revelation 1-22 (perfectly matching to the present 21st century), I have been restrained from further voicing out these new interpretations. I fought back, telling them that the Bible is not DEAD. In fact, I gave & proven some scriptures that were falsely interpreted by the Catholic Church. I then cited Luke 11: 52 to them, saying: “A curse is on you, teachers of the Law, for you have taken the key of knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you prevented others from entering.” And further cited Rev. 1: 8 and Rev. 22: 13 that “God is the Alpha & the Omega, the First & the Last, the Beginning & the End.” But these did not affect them. Search for Winston Kayanan in Yahoo and read some of the articles posted since April 2009 to know some new interpretations of the prophetic words.

If Nostradamus predictions in figurative language have reached the 21st century (like the twin towers), surely the word of God in the Bible has not died but still lives. Nostradamus was not even a disciple but the prophecies of apostles & disciples of Jesus Christ were overtaken by the predictions of Nostradamus because the Bible scholars & experts ended the mission of the Bible. They returned my fight by saying that I am perverting the word of God, being an anti-Christ.

Who is then right? Are all interpretations of the Catholic Church true? In 2 Thessalonians 2: 7, it says: “The mystery of sin is already at work, but he who restrains it at present has to be taken away.” In reality, I have been proclaiming & announcing the word of God based on my interpretations as revealed by God by invoking Rev. 22: 10, quoting: “Do not keep secret the prophetic words of this book because the time is near.” In this vein, I was not restraining but revealing the TRUTH. It is the Bible scholars & experts that were restraining for they wanted to censor or moderate all that I wanted to say. And to invoke 2 Thessalonians 2: 12, “So all those who chose wickedness instead of believing the truth will be condemned”, they did not recognize God in the explanations. As one great example, the frequent natural disasters are ACTS OF GOD. Such recurrence has meaning which indicate that God is punishing the world but they consider these acts of nature, resulting from acts of man.

Your thoughts please.

9. November 10: While appearing to be choosing kitchen

knives in the
Housewares aisle asked an assistant if he knew where

the
antidepressants
were.

10. December 3: Darted around the store suspiciously,

loudly humming
the
Mission Impossible” theme.

11. December 6: In the kitchenware aisle, practised

the “Madonna
look”
using different size funnels.

12. December 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when

people browsed, yelled

“PICK ME!” “PICK ME!”

13. December 21: When an announcement came over the

loud speaker, assumed
the foetal position and screamed “NO! NO! It’s those

voices again.”

And; last, but not least:

14. December 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the

door, waited a while;
then yelled, very loudly, “There is no toilet paper in

here.”

He sounds an absolute star.
I bet you have to book a ticket to get into the supermarket when he is performing.
